The quality of the food was average and a little on the expensive side. Service was okay. The seating was cramped and a bit on the crowded side.

Doc Martins originally excited us given the decor and the friendly staff. Upon reading the menu, we realized we were really limited by the dinner menu, being told the lunch menu was no longer available (even though a regular that came in 10 minutes after...More

Dear Paradox1972- Thanks for relaying your experience with us. While it is difficult to hear of your assessment of our selection, and preparation, we will certainly look into the specific plates mentioned. Regarding our beef cuts, while we would like to source local, we have...More

Went to Doc Martin's for lunch. It is located within a historic 1890's home that is attached to the Taos Inn --- very vintage. The menu offered a broad selection of lunch/brunch items. And the kitchen is willing to customize a menu item (e.g., turning...More

What a fun place to enjoy nachos while "people watching" near the plaza and shops. Small quaint patio with historic ambiance!

I have eaten here for perhaps 30 years, and I have always known that the service has been marginal but the food very good. This last time the service was over the line: it was practically non-existent, with the staff disappearing into the kitchen (or...More

Dear ptolemy10- So sorry to be losing a 30 year patron. Your perception of absent service is unfortunate, and difficult to follow-up. We train attentive and professional service, and keep a floor manager on duty to assist when there are problems with flow. I know...More

My wife and I celebrated via a early dinner at Doc Martin's. The entire experience was positive, from making reservations to an exit amid live music. We both started with Green chile. My wife ordered the much-lauded rellenos, and I the lamb shank. We finished...More

Yummy food, nice service, but it's located upstairs, so keep that in mind if you don't like to do stairs. Balcony overlooks the central plaza, and is surrounded by quaint southwestern-style architecture and shops.

Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Food was very good but a little more spicy than some might be used to but great in any event.
