Stopped after a day of shopping and enjoyed Nachos (steak) and margaritas....very nice...comfortable....food and drink very good....nice break from Thanksgiving food...
We stopped in after a walk through town because we read they had the best margaritas in Taos. Good margaritas, live music and a very crowded atmosphere.
While pricing was high to my eyes, the food was extravagant while the live music in the lobby made the whole experience improved by the atmosphere
I tend to pick restaurants based on the wine list and Doc Martin's had one of the best to Taos so we went there for dinner our last night in town. It was good but not great meal. My enchiladas were well seasoned with green chili sauce and a nice, but not huge portion. DW had chili reallano and enjoyed... More
Wow, had a surprisingly OK meal tonight St Doc Martin's, well cooked but very under seasoned entrée. Ordered the Lamb Shank that allegedly was braised in red wine. No hint of wine whatsoever and not even salt and peppered. Lamb was served with "horseradish" mashed potatoes with no spice, salt, pepper to them or discernable horseradish at all. Veggies on... More
We were here on a Sunday with a brunch menu as our option. At first, we were going to leave but decided to stay . Great decision! The food was very good and the service was as well! Proportions were generous and everything we had was wonderful!
Only been there once and probably will not return. Went on recommendation of relatives. Service was almost non-existant and food was mediocre and over priced. The best part was the location in an historic old building with a patio right on the main drag through Taos not far from square. But there are better choices within walking distance.

Ummmm, Adam K? Is that your idea of a "customer is always right" response? If so, perhaps you should practice a bit. You are correct when saying we were not there on Christmas. When I wrote this I meant Christmas holiday - as in family vacation - as in, that we'd been waiting many years to take together. Oh and yes, the Fourteeners WERE playing. I should know. I sat with my 70 year old mother and 3 year old grand daughter for nearly an hour under the Christmas Tree listening to them.
We were there EXACTLY on Saturday night, Dec 27th. 6:45. HOLLY took our reservations. In person. I can't remember the name of our server. No matter. You were so flip in your response (basically insinuating that my review was a lie) that I will be back...the 5th of NEVER!
