This place is good! We had no idea it was an actual restaurant. We pulled in thinking we would just grab a quick burger but were pleasantly surprised it's not fast food. It was quick but could also be a good place to sit for awhile, have a drink and eat. The green chili burger was cooked perfectly. Also had... More

Every time we go to Taos we eat here at least twice! We love the Taos Burger and The Green Chile Cheesburger and sweet potatoe fries with Green Chile mayo. Yum! It is a must if you are in Taos.

I've been a green chili cheeseburger fanatic now for over 30 years after having my first one at the Bobcat Bite outside Santa Fe,NM. Make a mean one myself for my chili he'd friends in "Oh My God! It's Too Hot" New England home town of North COnway, NH. 5 Star has a reputation for great burgers, which I sampled... More

I couldn't believe that we would drive about an hour for a burger, but we did and it was worth it! Juicy, tender, moist and thick! I added bacon and mushrooms to mine- perfect. My companion had classic cheese burger, well- he took me all the way there so I guess he had to say it was good. We shared... More

5-Star is like an evil indulgence spider web, we have a hard time passing it without getting caught! : ) Those dang greenbeans with ranch or the green chile mayo -- the BOMB! - try em. The burgers were great always, but seemed slightly under-cooked from what we'd all requested - not a deal-breaker for us, as the meat and... More

We are here during our recent trip to Taos based on recommendations from friends. Let me start by saying that we had 12 people in our party and that was a little difficult to accommodate at dinner time, but the staff moved around tables so that we could sit together. The burgers were good. The onion rings were too thin.... More

Happy that your burgers were good and the beer was cold. Sorry if service was a bit slow but it can be a challenge with a party of twelve if we're busy. Thanks for being patient with us! More
