Stopped in on vacation. Food was good. Service was below average. Watch the sneaky 20% gratuity forced on your bill and then they still add the additional line for a tip after running your card.

The Carne Avocada had a wonderful Chipotle smokey favor, the Margaritas are fabulous. A wonderful restaurant in a town with a very old history on Route 66.

We had to stop and eat in Santa Rosa. We chose this place at random. Food was good enough for the prices. We weren't hungry enough for dessert which looked good. I had the Santa fe enchiladas and requested light cheese. The sauces were good, and chicken filing was plentiful and juicy. My husband ordered chicken fried steak and was... More

Service was lacking, although the two waitresses we saw were working hard. We didn't get all of what we ordered, but we were never charged for what didn't come. The food was a bit hit and miss also. There is a nice little souvenir shop in the restaurant.

Is good, true New Mexican. Service was good, and the waitress said "the sopapillas came out flat but the don't taste too bad..." brought a laugh. They were fine.

We are passing through Santa Rosa New Mexico and spent the night at Laloma, RV park next to the restaurant. The manager of the park recommended it. After we sat down we were offered beverages. They came quickly. Took awhile for the server to take our order. The food came out hot and tons of it. I had Tostadas and... More

Good fajitas, pizza, salads, bottled beer (except Bud), but interesting clientele, nice bartenders, a fun stop in Santa Rosa.

We have stopped here several times on our way through town. Tonight we had our son and three grandchildren under the age of 12 with us. They wanted to separate us at two booths or seat us in the bar. The bartender said it would take a long time to get our food since they didn't have a waitress. Then... More

Had lunch on a Sunday noon. Was a nice old place - funky Route 66 stuff to buy as well as the food. I had the chicken fried steak - outstanding! My son had the green chile cheeseburger - very good but real mild chile.
