So, the question is, does the neato truck out front make up for the lousy chile con queso? Uh, no. This may be an unfair review, but we weren't very pleased with the Tia Juana. We weren't hungry but wanted a snack and a drink. The Comfort Suites where we were staying was just across the street so this seemed... More

We enjoy many of their menu choices! The Happy Hour is good! My cold weather favorite is Caldo de Res (Mexican beef stew), but we enjoy just about everything. The service is very good!

This is not a "bad" review. The food was good and I feel they have the New Mexican flavor going for them...but they're just not quite there, if you know what I mean. They kind of miss the mark on presentation and texture. I had a cup of pork posole and it had a good taste but there was very... More

The child rellenos were good, full of cheese with not too much batter. They could have been served hotter, but were still tasty. The pinto beans were served hot and tender, the rice was flavorful and moist. The salsa needed some additional spices, the tostadas were thin and crispy. Good service.

Painting on building outside indicated this restaurant closes at 9:30 p.m. However, my family and I arrived at 9:08 p.m. Staff were cleaning the restaurant and left us standing at the door for several minutes. I finally walked into the restaurant and was stopped by a staff member who told me they were closed. I stated that outside it displays... More

I'm pretty hard to please with traditional mexican food, but i'm a HUGE fan of Tex-Mex. If you're looking for good Tex-Mex, this is the place for you! The smothered burrito was GREAT and the margaritas were tasty and of course they'll give you what you're looking for. We had 9 in our party, and no one had any complaints... More

Friendly staff, food was ok but not fantastic. Margaritas were tasty but pricey. Avoid the chilly cheese fries at all costs they were soggy and tasteless.

I'm sort of a Mexican food snob, so I was disappointed by the food at Tia Juana's. Salsa was very tomatoey. I had a combo which was just OK. My buddy had fajitas and remarked that they were average. We were there for lunch. Not much more to say.

Quite tasty dishes and a wide variety to boot. There were six of us and had a large variety of goodies. Relleno, green & red chili dishes and tacos went down well. Margaritas were quite good as well. It's right on the main drag in Roswell and a fine place to stop after a day of chasing space aliens.
