See my review of Bobcat Pass Wilderness Adventures. Everything I said there applies to the Cowboy Evening.

we went with a large group and had a wonderful time. The steak was very tender and very flavorful. The sides were all solid and the entertainment was great. I would recommend for sure. The only complaint I would have is how they choose the order of who goes first the idea is people who want rare or med rare... More

I attended their cowboy evening. We had great steaks with yummy biscuits cooked over coals. The music was great country songs and also had good story telling. It's set up in a giant tent but you will still need a jacket for after the sun goes down.

Had a great time on our fourth visit to the Cowboy dinner in Red River. The food is excellent the activities for the kids roping, horse shoe toss and seeing the horses is always a blast. The people are genuinely very kind and put on a great show and an amazing meal! Good wholesome family entertainement. Will be back again... More

While traveling across the South West raising awareness for Alzheimer's we visited Bob Cat Pass in Red River, N.M. home of the famous Moreno Valley Cowboy Evening Dinner. The Lewis family has been dedicated the to serving the public a fantastic dinner and entertainment for twenty five years! The steaks and chicken are cooked to perfection by Henry Lewis himself.... I greatly enjoyed my "cowboy evening." First, the food is delicious. Being from the rural south, I hold great expectations on biscuits and steaks. They nailed both of them. In fact everything I had was fantastic. The entertainment would not have been something I would have thought to do, especially with friends ages 25-29 (no kids). However, we ended up... More

one summer while visiting red river, we stopped in to try the Cowboy Evening dinner and entertainment. was a fun time and the food was really good. i was told that the steak marinade is the owner's own blend in a bottle. biscuits are made in a dutch oven while you watch, as is the peach cobbler.

Did lots of research on this horse ride/cowboy dinner package before arriving. Sadly, the horseback ride, altho i tipped our 2 wranglers, never introduced themselves, didn't share a tidbit of info of what we were seeing on our path, and had no interaction with anyone on the ride. The dinner, very very very tasty meat, thank you to the Misses... More
