We were in town for Thanksgiving this year. Chose Brett's Bistro, mainly because we always eat here when in town. Wonderful dinner, well priced. Plenty of food, we had leftovers to take with us. Would highly recommend.

I wasn't really sure how we would like this place because there were so many others with higher ratings. It was Thanksgiving evening and we didn't have many options. We were very pleased with our decision. Had the trout and prime rib- both excellent choices. Highly recommend this little find!

This is a small 30 or so seats place. Food wasn't bad but not that good either. Portions were big so brought 1/2 home for next night. Wife and I both felt ths same about the food. Service really needs to be improved. There were very few people in the place but they needed more than one waitress. She was... More

Ham and bean soup was the days special. It was basically a bowl of pinto beans. Not a speck of ham for the three different people that ordered it. Good service, but will eat elsewhere

Lunched here during slow season in October. Service was quick. Husband and I shared the Reuben sandwich and we agreed it was the best we ever had. Thick slices of corned beef, housemade sourkraut, and tasty Thousand Island style dressing. Highly recommend! Restaurant is apparently known for its chicken fried steak. Others in party had catfish and patty melt. Both... More

Needless to say after a day of hiking and sightseeing I was ready for a good meal. 3pm is a longtime from a 7am breakfast. A local had recommended this place and I was very happy with the food and service. The burger was excellent, the fries were amazing and the ice tea was awesome!

We have been going to Red River for years and I must say Brett's is by far the best food in RR. It is a very nice restaurant, nice atmosphere and the food is delicious. I have had several different items and have not had a bad meal. The prices may be a little high, but, compared to the other... More

The motel person recommended Brett's. At this time of year they serve lunch until 5. For lunch we had a patty melt, french onion soup, & fettuccine. Wife liked the patty nelt - though she felt the french fries were not the greatest - a bit doughy. The french onion soup was excellent, fettuccine with mushrooms & vegetables was too... More

Went there for supper and my friend and I both ordered the chicken fried steak. Damn, wish someone had warned us how huge this was!!! We could have split the meal. Flavorful and plenty!

NO BAR SERVICE - BEER AND WINE ONLY. SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE - 1 WAITPERSON, WHO WAS DISINTERESTED . Very short-sighted menu, at very high prices. Chicken Fried Steak looked like a "truck -driver's special". Décor is minimal, except for a giraffe??? Some people sent back their dinners.
