Wonderful freshly prepared food. The owners are always on the scene. Service is excellent. In the center of red River. A very friendly atmosphere. Paula and Ben, the owners are a fixture here in our town. The pasties are baked fresh every morning.

We come to Red River often and have always stopped in here to eat lunch. The homemade soup is amazing! The sandwiches are fresh with your choice of homemade bread. Today was the first day I had the homemade hot chocolate. The best hot chocolate I have ever had!! The owners and employees are always very friendly and are willing... More

Awww., Jenny, thank you so very much for the wonderful review! That great Hot Chocolate is made with loving care, Ghiradelli chocolate, vanilla flavoring, whole milk and sugar. And the soups? I start from scratch on every single one and I never skimp on the good ingredients I use. I'm so glad you liked them. We do our very best... More

We went in for lunch and we were not disappointed. We have eaten here before and they have a delicious Ruben sandwich that is filling and delicious. They make most everything from scratch from the bread to the dressings. A nice atmosphere and amazingly nice folks to talk with. Keep up the good work.

Reubens are one of the favorites at our place so we were happy to hear you enjoyed one as well. We DO make most everything from scratch simply because we think food just tastes better that way, Our mama's taught us a thing or two! We look forward to serving you when you come back to Red River. We hope... More

Had breakfast here twice, once for the biscuits and gravy as recommended at resort, and second time for the cinnamon rolls after wife and mother-in-law raved about the ones I'd taken to them. People were extremely friendly and helpful.

Fast friendly service. Plenty of seating. Great sandwiches and salads. They do run out of items though. Good soups also.

The best bakery in Red River. They have figured out high altitude baking and the results are awesome. Friendly staff. Even the town Marshall eats here.

Description
Mountain Treasures has a huge menu of wonderful homemade soups, made-to-order deli sandwiches (like ruebens, chicken-fried steak sandwiches and muffalettas)on fresh, "housemade" baked breads. The delightful smell of Kolaches, cinnamon rolls, turnovers, and cookies flow through the whole place and you may find them hard to turn down! Entrees include fried chicken with fries & Texas toast as well as catfish with hush puppies & fries. Our coffee shop serves steaming cappuccinos, lattes, and fresh house coffee as well as fresh-fruit smoothies. We've proudly served visitors and locals for 12 years on Main Street right in the middle of town across from the Community House.
