You maybe have to work a little to find Pappy's and some travelers may be inclined toward typical fast food chains. Go find Pappy's. It's a winner. The green chili fusion burger was splendid. Salads excellent. A quaint little place with good food and value!

Great food! Very inexpensive with a friendly atmosphere. Ariel and Sherry are wonderful. Very much a local eatery with nice customers.

I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed your visit! The chicken salad sandwich on homemade bread was started with my grandma and grandpa back in 1923. We still use the same recipe for both. Glad to hear you will get a chance to visit us...More

I ordered the homemade mac and cheese. It was horrible--elbow macaroni with a watery milk sauce and some cheese half way melted on top. The green salad came from a bag with a packet of dressing and packets of saltine crackers. My husband had the...More

We enjoyed our lunch at this restaurant. The burgers were excellent, and the onion rings and sweet potato fries were perfect! The staff were very friendly, and the facility was very clean. A good value for your dollar.

Great people, friendly, fast, and courteous. The food is good. Just a simple family owned place to eat where they make you feel at home. The hours of operation like most restaurants in Raton is limited/odd.

One of the better green chile cheeseburgers I've had. Cute place, popular with the locals, friendly and efficient service. Both the regular and sweet potato fries were undercooked--but the burger was so big that I didn't care.

The wait staff is VERY nice and attentive. Hamburgers are great, and breakfast is good, down-home breakfast. Nothing healthy, but well done. Always have a good experience here. Good prices for what they serve as well.

We have expanded the menu this year to include more home style favorites like meatloaf with homemade mashed potatoes, and spaghetti. We have kept our local Mexican food favorites such as our pancake style enchiladas, stuffed sopapilla, and fajitas. We also have beer and wine to accompany your meal. Sunday's we have a breakfast buffet from 8:30-11:30.
