Peppers is a part of the Double Eagle. Open for lunch. Courtyard atmosphere with shade and a fountain. Full service bar. The menu items were unique and delicious. Service was fantastic! This is my second time here and both visits were enjoyable. Makes for a nice intimate, midday getaway.

We had a delicious Mexican meal and margaritas here! The restaurant is located in the Double Eagle restaurant building, but is separate dining in a beautiful oasis setting. The "award winning" margarita is delicious! Billy had the beef soft tacos and I had a combination plate of cheese enchilada, beef taco and chile relleno (which was the best I have... More

One of the shops we visited on the Plaza recommended this restaurant to us and we are so glad they did. The food was fresh and tasty. I had the crab cake sliders they were excellent. Everyone in my party was very happy with their selection.

Went there for dinner on a Saturday evening. Was told we would have to wait as they "were making salsa". Plenty of empty tables so we said we don't need salsa. They refused to seat us anyhow. After 15 minutes we left.

Visited this restaurant on 04/15/17. It is located in the Double Eagle on the Plaza, in historic Old Mesilla. When you enter the restaurant, be sure to pick up a free brochure which has the history of the building. We utilized the brochure & visited each room listed/described. It was very interesting & fun! The building & furnishings are very... More

Cool interior of the restaurant in this old building. The food was varied; we had salmon, chicken fried steak, Mesilla chicken and chipotle chicken and gnocchi. Everything was good.

We had dinner here. Oh my goodness! First off - the building is stunning. Use the pamphlet to walk around and explore. It just an amazing place - lots of history and a great way to be entertained as you wait for your meal. The service was perfect! Our waitress was great - very attentive, answered all our questions, and... More

Used to love it here. Margaritas are at least still off the hook!!! Food used to be good too but between the day old rice, roach on the table, nasty water, & sorry enchiladas- I'm not coming back anytime soon. Must be new management - we've been coming here for 10 years and never had a worse experience. Heartbroken. Sad... More

It is a fun place with great service in the same building as the Double Eagle. The food was very good. However, we just came from the cattlemen's in El Paso the day before soooooooooooo, you can't seem to compare with that. My wife had a chicken salad which she loved. I had a steak. Which was good. Then came... More

Peppers is in the same building as the Double Eagle, but at a lower price. Go there for excellent chili rellanos and chicken fajitas. Beautiful setting; you think you are in old Mexico. Drinks are awesome especially the margaritas.
