We had read about Smiling Faces, and the Navajo tacos seemed to be the top item, so most of us ordered it. I was impressed that the server offered to bring us samples of the chile, since it was fairly hot and she wanted us to know Indeed, despite the fact that most of us were raised in NM, we... More
Driving through, needed lunch, but it was later. Only place we could find open and it was meant to be. Red chilie made my husband sweat and he loved it. Navajo Taco with green chilie hit the spot. So good. We will be back when traveling this way.
Stopped for lunch(12:30), It was 30 minutes to get our meal. The lunch prices here are slightly more than places in Santa Fe. We walk in and someone from a side room says seat yourself. Red Chile was hot, which the waitress said, if you want red chili there should be an option. Frito pie was ok, child was hot,... More

My wife had a BLT which had very crispy bacon, thankfully how my wife likes it. The fries were the best part. Looked... More
I had the breakfast burrito with red chile, and we all agreed at the table the chile and burrito was very good. The other breakfast items we had which were not New Mexican were not so hot. I recommend ordering what Smiling Faces is good at - New Mexican food. All the New Mexican plates looked great. The restaurant is... More
