There's not much in Jemez Springs, NM - a couple of shops, a hot springs bath house and the iconic Los Ojos Saloon. This bar is a must for anyone visiting the area. It's old - rough hewn wooden bar, wooden stools, leather booths and an immense fire place. I had the ribeye sandwich with fires and an IPA beer.... More

Upon walking into Los Ojos, one enters a different century. The bar stools are old wooden stumps shaped like drums; the large fireplace was most welcoming on the cold day we visited; the artifacts on the walls kept us intrigued; and the food was good. Combine that with pleasant servers, fun stories about the bar, and good company and one... More

We had lunch at Los Ojos on our way from Albuquerque to Santa Fe. The place has an interesting atmosphere with a big fireplace, dark wood everywhere, bear skin rugs and hunting trophies on the walls... The staff were very friendly. The food was of varying quality. We had the chiles rellenos which were excellent and the Southern chicken which... More

You can't go wrong with a burger; although, it wasn't the one I ordered. I had slow service, so by the time my server came back, I was done eating, and let her know it was great, and would probably have been better if it were what I ordered. She was quite apologetic. It wasn't that busy, but I think... More

We stopped in for dinner after a long day of hiking and found a lively atmosphere with live music and a hopping crowd. Definitely the place to be in the evenings. I was with a group of 7 women and we all ordered something different. The waitress seemed to have a hard time keeping our orders straight, so we didn't... More

Cool ambience - old time cowboy; fantastic service; very good food and drinks; and great music! If you're in the area it's a must stop.

Our family stopped in for dinner after soaking in Jemez hot springs, wet hair and all. We had a little restaurant section all to ourselves. We ate enchiladas, the special of the day and they were very good. My daughter had chicken strips, also good. Nice ambiance to the place with an old piano and quirky decor, antlers and such.... The ambience never changes. Cowboy bar complete with elk heads and log stools. Menu is more limited than in previous years but a good place to get a decent meal.
