My family is still sort of new to Gallup and are trying different restaurants in town. This morning we went over to the Plaza Cafe and we were not let down. It's an older diner and looks a bit rough. Also only has the capacity to seat 39 people. The breakfast however is really good. My daughter ordered the pancakes... More

don't let the outside looks fool you - in the 1950's it started off as an old single wide trailer, then they added a boxcar - the huevos rancheros,mmmmmm- french toast to die for and the green and red chili are the best in town

Clerk at hotel suggested this Plaza Cafe for breakfast. Food was incredible. I had chicken fried steak plate---awesome. We also had pancakes, cinnamon toast and chorizo. Everything was outstanding....plus great service!

Chorizo and beans, in any form, are highly recommended! Two single-wides jimmied together boast the best breakfast in town. Reasonably priced and efficient service.

The food was excellent. The red and green chili were at a higher level of taste/quality, than what I had been able to find at a few other notable stops in New Mexico. So overall Very Good. The French Toast was the crazy surprise. It looked over battered but was truly amazing for "Plain Jane" straight up French Toast. Some... More

What a phenomenal surprise this teeny tiny little cafe turned out to be. It was recommended for breakfast the nite before by our dinner waitress at another restaurant. Its exterior is actually off-putting, and inside isn't much better, but it's clean and can probably serve 40 people, including at the counter. Heard conversations in various languages. Service is quick, and... More

I had the breakfast here. The café is small but the food is wonderful! Great eats. My favorite is the breakfast.

Looked for a place to eat, went off of Trip Advisor for review. Our initial view of the outside was a dive but reviews were positive so we decided to try it. The inside was basic, small town, small atmosphere. They have daily specials for breakfast, lunch items plus a large selection off the regular menu. There Huevos Rancheros was... More

Traveling on the road can be hard with the family and looking for a place to eat is sometimes harder. This little cafe is what we needed one morning. The breakfast was great and the whole family agreed. Nice size portions of food and wonderful hot coffee. It's not much to look at but well worth the stop.

Ate here on our last day after ballooning was weathered out. Small place and only one waitress on staff that morning. Have to say it was cozy small and the waitress was really good with all the tables being hit after ballooning. Food was excellent and red and green chile were flavorful and had some good heat. Highly recommended this... More
