I had chicken chimichangas and they use dark meat chicken which I don't care for. Food was just average.

This is our go to place. We have been eating here every time in town. We have tried a good portion of the menu and had great food each time.

Asked a frequent visitor to Taos to recommend a place to eat. Wasn't disappointed. My husband and I arrived just as the place was opening for dinner at 5. We chose to enjoy sitting outside on the patio. Our home is in Canada, and we'll be...More

Delicious food in a non-touristy place. Dont get me wrong, tourists are totally welcome but the vibe was chill and local. We sat in the front garden area and ordered the Chile relleno with grilled shrimp and a combo platter with both chicken and beef...More

During our August visit to Taos we dined at Orlando's twice. That was how good we thought the food was. Having grown up in the southwest of Texas, we have sampled many Mexican restaurants. This one was excellent.

Wait at almost any hour of the day for the best NM food for at least 100 miles. It's worth it. Go eat and enjoy!

Orlando's is a small place, so if you come at a peak time (especially in winter when the outdoor garden is closed to seating), prepare to wait for a table. But it'll be worth it. Freshly prepared traditional New Mexican dishes plus Baja-style fish or...More

Interesting Mexican cafe. I had the Frito Pie which was good, but not what I was expecting. I was expecting something more homemade. This is an inexpensive place and the service was excellent, but don't expect anything you could not get at home.

Sorry, but we do not take reservations. However if you have a large party and can be there by opening we can accommodate you. Otherwise call anyway and try to give us a heads up, its not a promise but will try. O

No. Orlandos does not take reservations. It's best to go early because it's very popular.
