We went on the recommendation of an art museum employee. Originally we chose a different Mexican style restaurant, but the kind museum employee pointed out that this restaurant would be less expensive and probably better food. The lady was right on. There were four of eating. We all agreed the sangria was one of the best house sangria so we... More

Really good New Mexican food. We sat on the patio and it was very relaxing. I had the Los Primos combo plate. Tamale, posole, and chile rellanos. Awesome would definitely go back. Great service

I was here for dinner on an overnight stay in Taos. It was my first visit but will not be my last. It was a Sunday evening in Taos and many other places were closed so it was a bit busy but I was seated immediately at the counter. The atmosphere is comfortable and enjoyable. It felt like a good... We love Orlando's! New Mexican food at it's best with a little taste of Mexico, i.e. the Baja style fish tacos are a must. Another favorite is the shrimp enchiladas with blue corn tortillas and chile caribe. Gotta love a place with a Sloppy 'Bro, open-faced burger with choice of red or green chile sauce. Don't miss it when you're... More

So popular that I had to sit around an outdoor fire built for people waiting to be seated. I had dined here several times when living in Taos, NM. My favorite dish is the Tres Colores Enchilada plate with posole. Each enchilada has a different ingredient and is spiced just right. It's well worth the wait if it's crowded.

Orlando's is the consummate part of the Taos dining experience for us, and has been for decades. It's actually worth our four-hour drive just to eat here and turn around and go home! The fish tacos and pintos are fantastic, and the burritos and tacos are exceptional. All the locals eat here. Cash only. Worth any wait. Lovely family staff,... More

This is a great place and popular. People line up before it opens, but do not be intimidated by the line. In cold weather a heated areas is provided. I am not a vegetarian, but here I always get the vegetarian burrito. It is fantastic and filling for a 200lb guy. I always point first time Taos visitors and friends... More

Awesome food wonderful ladies Friendly! With some of the best salsa I have ever had. And they sell the spices to make it. Doesn't look all that impressive on the outside. Who cares! The food is AWESOME on the inside

We drove past twice and my friend said, "This place is calling my name." We went inside the small cafe. The food was excellent. We had to try the frozen avocado pie. It was amazing. Order it and share. A unique taste of New Mexico.

Some folks at our hotel told us we had to go to Orlando's so we took their suggestion and did. They serve hominy rather than Mexican rice and their red chili sauce that was served on the chicken was very good and flavorful, almost too hot for us gringos. Enjoyable lunch.
