One of my first places for a meal when I'm in Tulamben. Go for the Mahi Mahi, Tuna or Baracuda if it has been freshly caught, you won't be disappointed. Go upstairs on those warm tropical evenings (many) as it's the best place to be...for a cool breeze. I always look forward to saying Hi to Wayan and eating at his restaurant. Recommended!!More

We loved the top floor views. We had the Curry and the Mahi Mahi and loved them both. The service was good too.
Called in here for a quick dinner. The view from upstairs is absolutely amazing however when dinner was delivered I got my food and the 10 minutes later my husband got his. Great food apart from the wait.
Views of the volcano were great...sit upstairs. Service and food were good. Wish we learned of this place sooner as we would have eaten there more.
Upstairs is a good place to sit on a hot day with a cool shady setting and a refreshing breeze. You sit the right way and you get a great view of the volcano! I enjoyed my pork satay and pineapple arak (good to try...but would have preferred it with a bit more pineapple and a bit less arak!) Hubby made a bad choice opting for beef stroganoff: I get that he wanted a break from Indonesian food but probably would have been wiser to have a burger or snitzel as the stroganoff rendering was poor indeed and more like a beef and mushroom soup! A bit of a wait to pay while some guy quibbled about his bill with a group of others. The guy was more apologetic about the hold up than the staff were!More
This is right on the main strip in Tulamben, but they have a nice upstairs/ rooftop dining area that gets you away from the street noise and has a great view. (The WiFi upstairs is bad, so if that’s important to you sit downstairs). Very...friendly and helpful staff. Every time we passed by here at meal times there were local people eating here too- which I always take as a good sign! Also- this is the pick up location for the Perama bus (spelling might be wrong) that runs down the east coast of Bali. When we were here, pick up time was 11am. Especially if you are just going to Amed or neighbouring villages the bus is much cheaper than hiring a car. We did two morning dives, then had the DM drop us off here for a meal while we waited for the bus to come at 11.More
Our group (5 of us) ate here during a recent dive trip. Tulamben is currently very quiet, so almost every restaurant was empty. Great Nasi Campur, Mei Goreng, spring rolls. Food was good and service friendly. I would definitely recommend. One of the best restaurants...that we visited during the week.More

We had nothing but good experiences at this restaurant. Staff were kind and attentive, the menu has something for everyone. The food was tasty and affordable. Definitely sit upstairs!

This restaurant is the Perama Shuttle Bus stop. I could not get in contact with the resort I’m staying at so Wayan took me there on the motorbike himself, free of charge.
Wayan Restaurant has everything !!!..........excellent food, ice-cold drinks, budget prices, generous servings, attentive service, friendly staff........and magnificent views over lush rice terraces in the valley below and Mount Agung ! Visit and enjoy !
