After arriving in Seminyak in the afternoon, and my partner riding the tail-end of 'Bali belly', we had three requirements when looking for somewhere to head for dinner - close by to our hotel, fairly simple food choices and great overall reviews. Thankfully, La Lucciola...ticked all of these boxes!
After a short wait (as we had no table booked, and sat in the waiting area with a pair of cocktails) we were seated upstairs, giving us a lovely view of the palm tree-lined beachfront, which were all beautifully lit in the warm Balinese night. The waiting staff were all courteous and attentive, and seemingly within no time at all our meals appeared before us. The restaurant itself was quite packed, and we could see people amassing in the waiting area mere moments after we had left. If that's not the best measure of a restaurant, I don't know what is.
Oh wait, the food! That's the best measure of a restaurant! My partner, due to his delicate constitution at the time, went for a simple cheesy gnocchi dish, while I went for one of the seafood options. We wolfed down our meals in record time, which is usually a testament to the chef. and it was a sign that my partner was getting better. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better start to our time in Seminyak.More
this is why i love tradinional italian restaurants so much everthings makes you feel welcome, the pizza and pasta is really great with a very hot food . the pice was very reasannable and overall i highly recommend it
Italian food is the best in the world simply because it is among the most reproduced abroad. The most reproduced food in the world, pizza is undoubtedly the most important Italian culinary invention. Italian pasta is always excellent.
I know anyone or almost anyone can make spaghetti and meat balls, but there is a lot of difference in the making. La Lucciola makes the best of the dish that I ever tasted. It's the perfect mixture that they make to make the dish...soo delicious in many waysMore
I haven’t been here for a few years and they didn’t disappoint. The service was spot on, the food was fabulous and the scenery is picture perfect, very romantic and dimly lit for the perfect ambiance which makes it even more enjoyable. Highly recommend it!
We were recommended this restaurant to have dinner and watch the sunset. We enjoyed our time here however it was pricey and not many vegetarian options. Staff were lovely though and very accommodating.
We have been dining at La Luciola every time we are in Bali for several decades. Whether for brunch, lunch, or dinner, La Luciola never disappoints. The airy restaurant provides a stunning view of Petinget Beach no matter where you are seated. The wait staff...are well-trained and attentive to customers. The food is just exquisite. We have never had a bad meal or experience at La Luciola. The location offers one of the best sites for sunset viewing on Bali! Looking forward to our next visit!More
Recently had dinner at La Lucciolo for my nieces 40th birthday. There was 20 of us in the upstairs private room. It was an amazing night. The food was amazing. We started with the most gorgeous canapés. We had choice in a set menu ......I chose gnocchi and French cut lamb chops and both were delicious. Many chose pork belly & you could hear the crackling crunch as it was being eaten... everyone said it was superb.
It was followed by birthday cake baked at the restaurant... fruit sponge.👌🏻👌🏻
La Lucciolo is a first class restaurant and the service is perfect and oh ....nearly forgot to mention the setting is divine overlooking the ocean uninterrupted 🙌🏻More

I tried emailing them recently to let them know I had been bitten by bamboo mites upstairs in their restaurant and nobody bothered to contact me. Thought I should warn them to treat their furniture. Check out a place called Nook Cafe not on the beach but a beautiful setting in the edge of rice paddies it's just down at Umulas not far away so much cheaper but with a great outdoor atmosphere
