How is Prana Restaurant rated?

We tried to eat here and they don’t seem to be open, which is odd bc we walked in to make our reservation and they didn’t inform us of this situation. They are moving everyone to the “newer” restaurant with a western menu and modern...aesthetic. Prana was deserted and the other restaurant was not busy. We were specifically interested in the Indian menu and the old world interior so we just found another place to eat down the street. Seems like it’s still semi-shut-down after the pandemic. Too bad as it is a gorgeous space.More

Not so good

We weren’t sure we were at the place that received so many positive reviews. Had to check the map and photos when we returned to our hotel room after lunch. We were wanting Indian food but the menu was limited. Was it missing a page?...Tried to confirm this online but the link to the menu gives you a “page not found’” message. We waited a bit for the food and it was explained that it was being cooked and delivered from their other restaurant. Portions were tiny for the price. The fish pakora had three small chunks of fish. The crispy duck was priced higher than most places and the half duck was tiny. On the bright side the atmosphere is lovely.More

Attached to our villa

Went here for breakfast each day. Good choice,excellent service awful coffee and watch out for the mozzies

Beautiful restaurant

This is one and only unique and the architecture restaurant are just wonderful and remind me about the fairytale far far away! The food are tasty and also authentic north indian food.More

Nice indian cuisines

We were told the restaurant is famous for its Indian cuisines and so we went there for lunch. It's superb, the chicken briyani and king prawn tandoori were really delicious!More

Lovely Indian Restaurant

Divine Indian cuisine with beautiful dining area. Seating inside and outside. My mom loves Indian.. We had dinner here most nights. Food is very tasty. You must ensure to let them know if you like your Curry mild, medium or strong. Service can be a...bit slow but all food was fresh. You can phone through your order as well. We sampled the Chicken, Prawn and Lamb dishes and then Garlic Naan was good. Also had some cocktails - spirit cleanser & mojito. If you sitting outside make sure you have mosquitoe repellant. Do take you camera with as it is a stunning dining spot. Lovely for couples and family. It was a bit pricey but you pay for what you get and we had a lovely experience.More

Great Indian Cuisine

My wife and I were wandering along the street and noticed this quiet little restaurant- and we were absolutely stunned by the quality of the food. We had the butter chicken and prawn curry - both were excellent munched down with the garlic naan with...butte and a bottle of the Sauvignon Blanc. Authentic Indian food!

We had dinner there and it was awesome. The ambience of the restaurant is nice and all the dishes tasted authentic and delicious. Authentic Indian food cooked by Indian head chef - YUM!

Ate at the Prana restaurant and we were not disappointed! Being Indian myself I can be quite critical if the flavours and style aren’t authentic but there was no need to worry on that count. Their head chef, Dan Singh, has been here for 7mths...perfecting the menu having previously worked at the Marriott, Kuala Lumpur. We ordered the Dal Tadka, Bindi, chicken kadhai and veg biryani with a couple of garlic naans and our tastebuds were in for a treat! Everything was so flavoursome and delicious. Definitely gets a 5* recommendation!!! Thank you to the staff for being so helpful too.More

Wide variety of tasty food on the menu, great service, nice location.

Decor is very nice. The restaurant has very tasty Indian food, also offers a nice variety of Indonesian and western foods. Service was a little slow, but staff were very friendly which more than made up for it. Would recommend a visit for superb Indian...meal.More
