We went to Warung Bunana after seeing the reviews. The restaurant décor is not modern, but the food and prices are excellent. We had a 2x Gralic Roti and 2x iced tea each and the meal came to under 50k (approx £2.5). The staff was...friendly and service prompt. The Roti came with a delicious sauce and we really enjoyed the food. It's a bit off the beaten track, but worth going if you are looking for a tasty and cheap meal!More

We had a plain roti, apple & cinnamon roti & vegetable curry. A large Bintang & Diet Coke. Less than 80k r. The Bintang was 1/3 of the price! Quality: Both roti to die for. Veggie curry: very tasty more like a soup compared to...a thick curry. Service: prompt & efficient. Vibe: lots of locals & tourists- great feeling. Would we go again- you bet we will. After 2 disappointing days of meals...we discovered Warung Bunana! The food was simple but packed with flavour! And the added bonus...it was cheap! When we walked in and saw it was full.of locals we knew ww were in for a treat. Tip - order 1...large roti for 1 person and possible 2 curries as they were small. We had 2 large rotis, 2 curries, 1 small rice, 1 large bintang, 1 small bintang and an icecream - it all came to 120 000rp. We will definitely be back! Great food...even better service.More

Felt like home(Singapore)...good old Indian fix of roti and drinks. Friendly staff and lovely local ambiance.

I ordered a chicken sausage roti (with curry sauce) as the main course, and milk banana roti as the desert. The rotis tastes quite good, even better than some rotis I had in India. The milk tea is great. A place full of local people,...eating daily their meals, don't expect the atmosphere in a restaurant. However, watching the chefs making meals just in front of you is a nice experience. And having a nice meal with a "friendly" price is even nicer.More
