... you can spend a small fortune in the thousands of restaurants that line the streets in Seminyak ... sometimes the food is worth it ... invariably it isn't. If Indian food is your thing and the tourist dollar is a little tight Warung Bunana...is the place for you. Specialising in Muslim Indian inspired Roti Canai (home made flat bread) and Martabak (pancake) dishes, Bunana is SO cheap! Grab yourself a nice tasty bowl of veg, chicken or mutton curry to stuff with your Roti or Martabak ... and some chopped onions ... and, of course, a Bintang. Bloody enjoyable and a bargain ... The staff in the rustic little road side cafe are very friendly and quite enjoy being watched in the kitchen through a glass panel as they create your choice from a massive menu. Go get some Roti !More

30+ variations of roti. Sampled several and all excellent. Pictured: Roti keju bread with cheddar cheese. Small. Martabak ayam. Indian omelette with some vegetables and chicken. We also had Kare ayam. Chicken curry. Hole In the wall. Air conditioned rooms in the back. Exceptional value.

We went to Warung Bunana after seeing the reviews. The restaurant décor is not modern, but the food and prices are excellent. We had a 2x Gralic Roti and 2x iced tea each and the meal came to under 50k (approx £2.5). The staff was...friendly and service prompt. The Roti came with a delicious sauce and we really enjoyed the food. It's a bit off the beaten track, but worth going if you are looking for a tasty and cheap meal!More

The reviews here did not disappoint. This great local price offers roti dishes starting as cheap as 5k! Don’t come here if you are looking for a healthy veggies dish, but if you are in for some tasty juicy roti, then you will be in...for a treat here. A whole family can eat here for the same price as one dish at most Seminyak places. Besides, you will experiences some local cuisine and be able to mingle with locals, so make sure to try it out, even if it is only for a quick snackMore

We had a plain roti, apple & cinnamon roti & vegetable curry. A large Bintang & Diet Coke. Less than 80k r. The Bintang was 1/3 of the price! Quality: Both roti to die for. Veggie curry: very tasty more like a soup compared to...a thick curry. Service: prompt & efficient. Vibe: lots of locals & tourists- great feeling. Would we go again- you bet we will. Enjoy this place for what it is. YummoMore

After 2 disappointing days of meals...we discovered Warung Bunana! The food was simple but packed with flavour! And the added bonus...it was cheap! When we walked in and saw it was full.of locals we knew ww were in for a treat. Tip - order 1...large roti for 1 person and possible 2 curries as they were small. We had 2 large rotis, 2 curries, 1 small rice, 1 large bintang, 1 small bintang and an icecream - it all came to 120 000rp. We will definitely be back! Great food...even better service.More

I ordered a chicken sausage roti (with curry sauce) as the main course, and milk banana roti as the desert. The rotis tastes quite good, even better than some rotis I had in India. The milk tea is great. A place full of local people,...eating daily their meals, don't expect the atmosphere in a restaurant. However, watching the chefs making meals just in front of you is a nice experience. And having a nice meal with a "friendly" price is even nicer.More

Hi again. Apologies, I got it mixed up with Warung Pizzeria "Roma" which I gave you the directions to. Warung Bunana is in Jl Sunset Road just before you get to the Roma alcove. The Google exercise is still relevant.
