About
Cocoon is a relaxed day club, sports bar, restaurant and events space on the beach road at Double Six, Seminyak. A large open plan venue, Cocoon has something for the whole family. Open from 6am with Cocoon coffee garden, enjoy brunch and afternoon happy hour cocktails on a daybed by the pool, or watch live sport in the sports bar. Cocoon has an upstairs private events space and bar with ocean views perfect for weddings, parties and corporate functions. We are excited to announce the re-opening of Cocoon Day Club from 1st June 2023, the Seminyak institution and one of Bali’s first beach clubs is back open after a 3 year closure. Reopened with new, Bali based management group, Habitat Hospitality with the goal to bring Cocoon back as a relaxing day club and sports bar, with great food and great vibes for the whole family. We stayed in Legian and had a few hours to spare so we wanted to find a beach club that was close. Cocoon beach club was in walking distance and we made a reservation for lunch time as there was 7 of us. We weren't able to reserve a lounge online however they were all available when we got there and we were able to utilise any area we wanted. The cocktail happy hour was fabulous and the food was tasty. Staff were diligent and helpful. Decor is a little dated but didn't take away from our experience. The only negative is that for some reason the pool turned all of our silver jewellery black. Easy enough to clean in polishing solution but a little inconvenient at the time.

My son suggested we go here for lunch one day, which we did and we went back several times during our stay for either lunch or dinner or just a snack and a drink. Service is great and the food, especially the tapas selection is excellent. My only criticism is that the staff may be a little bit to attentive, very quick to collect plates and ask if everything is ok and hover at the tables. In saying this I really enjoyed all the times we went to this restaurant and would highly recommend.

Fantastic Sports Bar with many different sports being shown. Great vibe and excellent service. Food was top quality and reasonably priced too. Got my drink order wrong - gave me a Chocolate Old Fashioned (I mean, WTF, why does that drink even exist - but it was on menu) whereas I ordered a Classic OF. I queried it with the waitress halfway through drinking it as I thought it just tasted funny. she said the bartender who made it had gone home so she couldn’t check so I told her not to worry I would finish it. As I was about to leave, she came up with the proper classic old-fashioned and said yes it looked like they got it wrong. We were about to leave so she put it in a takeaway coffee cup, and let me take it home! Great customer service! Highly recommend this place for food and watching sport.

We’ve enjoyed Cocoon a few times in the past and we’re excited to see its back open again. Took the family for the day. Pool is great, nice and warm with plenty of sun and love the seats in the pool to watch the world go by.
Also love the undercover lounge areas for people who want a bit more shade.
Unfortunately they are charging similar prices to the better known day clubs and the food and service are ok, but not up to the standard I would expect for the price, which is a little disappointing.
Beach views have also been severely limited by buildings on the beach side of the road. So you’re sitting by a lovely pool with views of ugly buildings and the road.
If they are going to keep charging through the nose they need to seriously lift their game on service and food.
Hopefully just teething problems being newly re-opened and they will find their feet.

Dissapointing
Met friends here on 1st trip and didnt like to post a negative reveiw but food sent back next day we went back to watch australia and england ladies world cup this was most disappointing. Called to book a table in front of the telly. You will be playing the England game won’t you? Yes.! 2 tables with lots of people and sit through the Aussie game. As soon as that is over. They change the telly to cricket England so mad it was unbelievable semifinals of the football and they don’t show it because the Aussies watch the cricket seems a bit one sided
Not happy but stay for a drink spent over $600 to watch. England game complained until it was put on in restauraunt but not the same >>>to april come to watch afl anzac as advertised nope nrl game .. pissing down so order food rendang. Slow cooked curry cold and dry and tough cubes will post tomorrow if i got the squirts never coming here again

We had pre organised a driver from the afternoon to pick us up from dinner nearby and when he picked us up we sat in the back while one of the staff from Cocoon (while wearing a Cocoon uniform!) banged on our window and hassled our driver. Very unpleasant end to our lovely night which left us feeling upset. Felt sorry for our driver who had been amazing throughout the afternoon for us.
Had walked past Cocoon and had it on our list to visit however will not be back after witnessing the staff behaviour :(

Hi JoderineW, can you be sure, the people who bother you are cocoon staff? because we do not have a driver staff and all your transportation activities are outside of our service. This is a little unfair to us because you give us bad reviews for something other than the service we provide to our guests. But we will continue to investigate this case so that in the future the comfort of our guests is our priority.

I was absolutely delighted! I would like to especially mention the avocado toast - it was simply excellent: crispy bread, fresh avocado and spices presented. The coffee didn't disappoint either - the rich taste and aroma made my day. Will definitely come back here again! I recommend it to all lovers of tasty and high-quality food.

We had the most relaxing day here. Such a chilled vibe, great music, lovely staff who were helpful and accomodating. Great food and tasty cocktails.
It was relatively quiet on the day we visited so no issue to move beds as the sun moved etc. The staff were eager to help so everyone had a great experience.
We felt the 1 million rupiah to go is was reasonable as this all came off your food and drink bill at the end. Beers were only 39,000 rupiah and cocktails were 99,000 from 3pm.
We would definitely visit again.

We went to Cocoon because they were actively promoting that they would be showing the Australian soccer olympic qualifying match. Sad to say they couldn’t figure out which channel it was being broadcast on & were not able to put it on. They did try, I’ll give them that. But I’m pretty salty that they advertised showing the game & then couldn’t end up doing so, as it was the sole reason for our visit.

Let's get the good stuff out of the way first
1) Vegan options, and tasty at that. I had the mix and match tacos.
2) Clean toilets
3) Nice indoor seating, or outdoor if you prefer
4) Staff very clean, tidy and friendly
Now the bad stuff:
1) slightly higher priced
2) "All day-breakfast" finishes at 11am
3) 17% service charge (++)
4) The staff are overly attentive (I got asked 7 times how things were)
5) massive confusion about whether my wife wanted 2 tacos or 3 mix and match but all the same type.
I'll probably be back - the food was tasty. Please have more vegan options. Vegan Margharita pizza would be good.

Strolled past this restaurant and decided to give it a go. It was great!. Casual dining, friendly service and good food. Our waiter was a happy friendly guy and our food came quickly. Good cold drinks as well. Wish we had checked it out earlier in our stay as would have definitely gone there again.

Amazing new day club with nice pool in centre Seminyak! I tried their brunch special, my favourite was the smoothie bowls and avocado toast! Interesting coffee flavours to try as well! Cute vibes for a chilled day, pass by when in Bali!

We popped in because we were walking by and spotted a two for one cocktails sign.
Was great! Comfy chairs, prompt service, yummy pizza! Great cocktails. We could see abit of the beach from our chairs.
Also the bathrooms are air-conditioned.. how amazing is that.

We have been to cocoon 3 or 4 times this week . The drinks are delicious and cheap and the food is really good too . Nice pool and the foot massage by

Really reasonable prices for beach club. Great food menu and great service. Didn't stay as the pool was too deep for my toddler but good tunes playing and nice vibe. Worth a visit.
