We had a fabulous evening here. The food was wonderful, although we felt we didn't do it justice as the portions are incredibly generous. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, and hostess and staff very helpful.

This is the first time in my life that I rate a restaurant. We were warned by the owner not to sit too close to the kitchen as the Viking Chef" might disturb us. That was an under statement! The waiters were so terrified of this man, completely focused on the kitchen and not the paying customers. I don't blame... More

We love dining out and last night was a special occasion as we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. We often frequent restaurants in Paarl and Franschhoek but we decided to support one of our local restaurants in Wellington. What a let down! We made a reservation earlier that day. On arrival we were met by a waiter that looked like... More

We called at this restaurant on speck for meal. At the time they were very busy as they had a wedding party. However they found us a table for two, which was nice as it is only a small cosy restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. If we are in the area again I... More

We went back a second night because the food was exceptional. The menu comes on a chock board and varies at the whim of the chef who certainly know his trade.

We went to the restaurant for an evening meal at sunset one day last week. The weather, view and menu were perfect! The pre-dinner cocktails were delightful to look at, as well as to taste. Our starters were delicious, if a little on the 'generous' size, given the fact that were set on having three courses! The only problem was... More

Lovely restaurant, good food. Many farms and homesteads in dire straits. Arson is suspected but very difficult to prove and control.

We never even looked at a menu, as the male person, status unknown, who seemed to be in charge at the restaurant, was so abrupt and rude to us, in addition to being rude and overbearing towards the very friendly and helpful young waitress in our presence, that we decided that we were obviously not welcome, and, since the tone...
