Great setting looking down over picturesque dam. Service was excellent. Good choice on menu and excellent wine. Food is consistently good.

We, aprty of two, visited while on a trip to Wellington. We were not able to sit outside as the tables were being painted. The interior restaurant was pleasant but while we were seated and ordered before several larger parties arrived the service was very slow. The food was tasty - the aubergine pizza an interesting veggie option

We visited to collect some wine and spent a very pleasant couple of hours in the restaurant having lunch. The food was very good, every one enjoyed their choices and the staff were extremely friendly. Having read a previous review about tables being cleared before everyone has finished eating, this is a practice that occurs at numerous places, just ask... More

We had booked a table at the restaurant for three people. All the other tables outside and a few inside were occupied as well. So it was quite busy. But for all these guests this restaurant had only two people in service! It was simply insane. Whatever we wanted we had to get ourselves. Menu, somebody to take the order,... More

This restaurant offers lovely fresh and well-prepared, delicious food. I had the grilled mushroom for starters which was scrumptious. Breakfast was equally delicious and fresh and they offer a great selection to choose from. The service was slow at times, but the friendliness of the staff made up for it!

Nice restaurant, in the lovely winery grounds - great views, nice winery art, tortoises roaming around Food was good but service a little patchy in places - I e fillet steak was perfectly cooked, really really good. But plates were cleared from some people after finishing their mains while other people at the table were still eating. Springbok carpaccio was... More

We popped into Diemersfontien while on a wine tasting outing in Paarl and were pleasantly surprised by the service, the quality of the wines and the wonderful food. I had prawns and the friends had burgers and we were all more than happy with the presentation, the quantity and the quality of our meals. This was our forth visit and... More

We spent an afternoon at Diemersfontein sampling their wines, scouting around the grounds and also had a bite to eat. It was all quite enjoyable especially the curry and the lovely wine. The flagship Pinotage is indeed a memorable wine :-) The estate is worth a visit and can lead to an afternoon to evening excursion for the whole family.... More

Well advertised, difficult to find on outskirts of Wellington. Great, well- priced wines, mediocre, to poor food. Salmon fishcakes were maybe 4 cm across, 1 cm thick, soggy. About 2 gram of soggy lettuce and tomato. We complained, no response from waitress. Asked to see chef... We think it came from a frozen bag. He didn't come. Asked about their... More
