Hooray for sensational South African cuisine! We had an unplanned spoil. Sitting outside alongside field in quiet relaxed atmosphere. You must try smoked snoek spring rolls *share. We feasted on blesbok fillet & herb crusted kingklip. Service friendly & attentive. Thank you chef & team!

We have eaten here on quite a few occasions and have yet to be disappointed. Beautiful farm and setting and really good food. All the staff have a vested interest in the farm and therefore work as if it belongs to them.

This is our favourite summer picnic spot. The vegetarian basket is packed with delicious and fresh produce. We usually take most of it home, it's simply too much food for two.The picnic area is vast and they take you to your spot on a tractor! The wines on offer is amazing and desserts...traditional and delicious.

Lovely venue. That's it. Food was good too but the pork belly we ordered was served cold. The veggies were perfect and piping hot. The problem with this potentially great place is poor management and flies . Sooooo many flies! On arrival, no welcome and no intro from the manager . Was there a manager. No! Waited ages to be... This was the most interesting place we encountered in our tour of wineries, and certainly one of the best meals I'd had in a very long time. I had the pork belly, which was beautifully presented and with a delicious array of local veggies!

Miss the old restaurant which had a fabulous and relaxing ambiance and offered hearty satisfying meals. We found the atmosphere around the new restaurant cold and totally lacking in the friendly attention we experienced at the old restaurant. Too much concentration on decorating your plate resulting in an inadequate and disappointing meal - fish was tasteless!

Most enjoyable lunch. Recommended if you want something with a local flavour. Prices of meals and wine wad very reasonable. The lunch time ambience was excellent. Service was also good.

We had a lovely lunch with very attentive staff who moved us indoors because of unruly children at the adjoining table.

Decided to have a late lunch after visiting the excellent museum in this property. We sat outside under the shade of a tree and shared two starters, a cheese plate and two deserts. Everything was extremely tasty and accompanied by excellent wine. We loved the Malvasia pudding and caramel banana roll. Perfect lunch and very reasonable price. Thoroughly recommend.

Fyndraai is an exciting restaurant with a local twist, on the Solms-Delta wine estate outside Franschhoek. The food, like its adventurous wines, lives up to the Solms-Delta claim of being proudly Hiervandaan (‘from this place’).
You not only walk into history in the 325-year-old wine farm restaurant, you walk OVER it. The glass floor covers the archaeological substructure of a 1740 wine cellar.
