I first heard of Palazzone 1960 in the Italian Tribune newspaper. A full 2 page ad on the new pasticceria in Wayne, NJ with rave reviews. My family was headed to NYC to see the tree, and decided to stop in and pick up a little something for the ride. It was the beginning of a long friendship with the... More

What a wonderful surprise! The cappuccino was absolutely perfect and the pastry was fresh and indescribably delicious. This place, in my opinion, suffers from an odd location. That said, I'll find a way to get there more often after having such a nice experience.

The pastry selection is larger than Ferrara's in NYC! These pastries are, hands down, the finest this side of the Atlantic. Even the miniatures are of the same quality as the full sized versions. That is not the case in most places. I like to stop in to enjoy a pastry with one of their list of Italian coffee selections.... More

I want to start off by saying my parents are off the boat Italian. They barely speak a lick of English. With that said they are the pickiest eaters in the world. My dad especially will criticize every bakery in NJ (including Italian restaurants). I'll never forget his face when he bit into the lobster tail pastry. It was as... More

We wanted to try lunch. Showed up at 1 and it was pretty full. By 2, it was much less packed. The place is small, with adequate seating. There are clear plastic chairs, which were just ok on the comfort level. Some small 2-4 tops and a couple of high tops as well. Simple, yet sufficient. There are Italian dry... More

Palazzone is primarily a pastry shop. You can enjoy your pastry there with coffee or cappuccino. If you purchase the pastries to go, they are placed on a very sturdy gold paper tray and wrapped - perfect for a hostess gift. The selection is huge, the store is immaculate, the service is great, the aroma is wonderful and the pricing... More

My husband and I were in town for the day and came here for lunch. The ravioli and special Tagliatelle was hearty and delicious. The simplicity of both dishes served well with the sauces and...of course, we had to have dessert! The lobster tail is the die for and having that with espresso was a divine finish to our afternoon.... More
