Not worth the money. Lobster was dry. Service was average. Beautiful location and atmosphere. Was really looking forward to eating there, but came away disappointed

Owner is marketing the Inn and adjacent parcels with hope of developing some monstrous, oversized residential-commercial project in this little town. However, There are 3 other dining opportunities within a block plus a liquor store.

The Stockton INN has extremely inexperienced wait staff, inedible food and BAD BAD MANAGEMENT.. Saw dust with a side of mustard would have tasted better!!

Slow to be seated (though the restaurant was hardly occupied and it was a Saturday night). Service was then slow as well (the hostess was doubling as a waitress that night, which one would not expect here). Food was expensive and really not good. My...More

Established in 1710, this is the inn that was immortalized by Richard Rodgers in the song "There's a small hotel with a wishing well" sung in the Broadway play On Your Toes. The inn was first built as a private residence and is believed to have been converted in 1832. Come and explore the over 300 year old Stockton Inn, nestled in the quaint borough of Stockton, New Jersey. Romantic dining is served in the exquisite mural rooms with fireside seating during the colder months. In the warmest months of the year, savor your meal and your surroundings while dining on the patio alongside two waterfalls and beautifully integrated gardens.
