Food on buffet is very salty but nice assortment of soup, salad and authentic Cuban food. For fee parking walk over one block and park on High St. Great lunch deal for $10

Great Cuban place with oversized food like many of the Portugese places in Newark. Always way too large of servings and service is always great. Is a bring your own wine!

Ever since I started coming here in December 2016 I've loved it! My favorite appetizers are the tostones with garlic Mojo, The shrimp scampi appetizer, The clams appetizer, salad is so good and fresh, and garlic shrimp entrée. My husband loves the ropa vieja. My family and friends love it too! Give it a try.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I've been here about a dozen times, always have something different, and am never disappointed. Most recently, I had the following: for starters, the Ronaldo avocado salad and for my entree, the "Picadillo de Carne a Lo Martino," which is ground beef acted with onions, garlic, peppers, olives diced potatoes in a red... We stopped in for a late lunch. The waitress was very cordial and she was delighted to offer suggestions and also explain some of the dishes. We ordered several appetizers and two main dishes. It was beyond delicious, extremely tasty and a culinary pleasure to remember. We also brought a few bottles of beer to complement the meal. The owner,... More

Six of us Romeo(s) enjoyed the very good $10. buffet. I requested a bowl and proceeded to mix together a "Cuban Chili " from the good selection of stews, black beans, and rices. (yummmy) Plenty of soups, plantain and chips, and we brought good red wine.=(Fiesta-time) Martino (Himself)came by and shared some of his pre Castro adventures.in Cuba. He enjoyed... More

i have no idea why this place gets praise...i live near union city/west new york where you can get better food and better atmospheres. although the food was tasty, it was the first cuban restaurant i left hungry....plus, martino is a character i can do without. nice try, but i wont' be back

I love the food. I had some pork dish that was spectacular. My youngest had a seafood dish. My oldest had a salad/beans/rice. My better have had a tamale. We had flan for desert. AMAZING food. AMAZING flan. BTW, ask Martino to dance!

Martino s offers a $10 lunch time buffet, which is outstanding. They offer a variety of entrees, three kinds of rice, fried plantains and salad. Also dessert is included; either tres lece or flang. A must visit in Somerville for lunch. Dinner, entrees are a bit more expensive, but very good.
