Often a wait but it moves fast. Nothing fancy. BYOB but no wine glasses. Generous portions. Feels rushed. Good food simply presented. Reasonable prices.

We've eaten at Smitty's for ten years. No Frills, just the best seafood ever had. Bring your own bottle. Their clams, fresh caught seafood, are he best. Sure, there's a crowd, come early and be prepared! Good service once you get a seat, people friendly.

The Clam Bar is only open Mother's Day weekend until mid-September and is an absolute must for locals and vacationers alike in Somers Point NJ (just across the causeway on the bay from Ocean City). This is a no-frills place: no formal wear (tee shirts and shorts is almost over dressed), no air conditioning, no credit cards (cash only), no... More

It's a long winter for we shore people until "The Clam Bar" opens for the season No "chain" operation here, just good old fashioned local ownership for many years. everything fresh and delicious. Atmosphere is "beach" and that includs friendliness. From New England to Key West it's the best. And, did I say the fried clams are wonderful?

No credit cards, very crowded. Take out to avoid the long wait. Great chowders. Seafood platters are always made with good quality fresh fish.

Always good food, and variety for all . Seafood Broiled or fried we love it all. Great New England or Manhattan Clam chowder for something new try half and half . Bring your own, no reservations, expect a wait in high season, so bring plenty to drink , and you can order takeout snacks while you wait. Great people watching... More

This is a very basic BYO specializing in basic seafood dishes such as fried shrimp, steamed claims, clams on the half shell, chowders and fresh fish. The building is diner like nestled next to a marina across the bay from Ocean City. The food is cheap and the wait is often a hour more as they take no reservations. However,... More

If you like seafood casseroles, this is your place. Inside and outside seating. The food is consistently hot, creamy, and very good. Most customers are regulars and the employees are usually students.
