My boyfriend and I stopped in after a long day at Hop Sauce Fest in LBI hoping for some authentic Mexican food. The food was great. Service was fast. It is a small restaurant and we went at a peak dinner time making it quite packed and noisy. No alcohol.

This place has the freshest guacamole, I could eat it every day!! The seafood burrito is also very delicious!!! It's like a hidden gem on LBI:)

This place has a fabulous location. That is all you can say. It has been here for many years so I finally decided to try it. First time/ Last time. I am not sure they are really in the restaurant business. No-one else came in to eat while we were there. People came in but I do not know what... More

The quesadillas were dry and they used cheddar and mozzarella. In a Mexican restaurant. The rice is aweful and bland. The chips are nothing special. Definitely not the high light of our trip

Great spot in Ship Bottom for mexican. The fish taco is yummy but huge, more of a burrito. Kids love to come here. It's small but we always seem to hit it at the right time. Very casual and on our summer rotation.

Called ahead said no reservation but the had tables to fit a party of 10. Walked through the door 5 minutes later and no tables a available. Food was bland, had no flavor what so ever. Chicken nachos, Fajitas chipotle style, tacos . . . Not worth it. Want real mexican, we tried La Bamba now there is flavor

LEX MEX is billed a Mexican restaurant but in my opinion misses the mark of being even close to a Mexican restaurant. I had a beef burrito. It turned out to be very small chunks of beef and not very good. I can not speak for anything else on the menu.

As a global traveler and a love for fresh food it is worth the 13 flight from Tokyo and on top of my list of places to eat at LBI. Fresh homemade salsa and I politely ask to take some home with no fuss, wish they would sell at grocery store. Great fish tacos. Nice hometown atmosphere and staff

My family and I went here on a whim so we checked out the menu prior and it was varied. So we all ordered a different meal with similar results. I found the Ahi tuna in a burrito which was very good with a honey jalepaneo side sauce. That I would have again. My only distaste was on all the... More

I went there a bit ago with some buddies to get some burritos and ended having to wait 50 minutes just for 3 meals to go. Food wasnt anything to write home about either.
