Kabob was decent. Goat Kali Mirch masala was good but had mostly meatless bones. Chicken Nani was ordinary. Lamb keema was flavorless except for the sweetness which isn't our taste. Ambience was decent. We ordered a raita. They gave a table spoon of it in a bowl that typically is what a complimentary condiment is served in. They charged $5... More

Was at Sunday buffet today. Good food. Very roomy. Not too spacey. Good value. Been here for dinner before and meal was great. Sunday buffet is just okay.

While I've never ordered from the menu, the lunch buffet is stocked with excellent tasting food. The selection may not be huge, but the quality is what counts here. I've dined here for lunch several times while in the area on business and have always been satisfied. I highly recommend Mantra if you are looking for a big tasty lunch.

Try the buffet lunch. Taste of food is very good. We really enjoyed with colleagues and would like to go back again there.

The only downside to this restaurant was that their website only refers to the Parasmus venue. You need to go to Yelp to find the address for the Jersey city one. But, as of Sept 4th 2016, it exists in Exchange Place :) Starting from the cocktails, this place had a variety that I have not been able to find... More

Tucked in the trendy side-walked neighborhoods of Jersey City, the Indian restaurant, Mantra is a Real Find. We have been enjoying their unique and delicious cuisine in the intimate bar area of the restaurant for years. Absolute favorites include their samosas which is always followed by Angare Chicken, a specialty from the Hyderabadi region of India - the sauce includes... More

Decent restaurant though I should mention it was nothing great. Seated in the basement area. Food was ok. We are veggies and visited with wife & family members after visit to Liberty Island (Liberty Statue). Along with the buffet spread, "a la carte" too was available. But "a la carte" was so expensive we preferred the buffet. The kofta curry... More

Awesome!!! We had our son's first birthday party here when one of our friends recommended the place and Rex. Did we make a great decision!! Rex is such a professional and went through the party order in detail with us and suggested the most awesome menu of which our guests still rave about. Rex and his team are just awesome... More
