If you like traditional British pub food, or want to give it a try, be sure to visit The British Chip Shop. Apart from the lack of British accents (and beer!), the atmosphere is much like what you would expect in a British pub. Good food, good service, good fun. My Irish Stew was not the best I've had; it... More

The British Chip Shop in Haddonfield serves tasty, fresh British food. I always head there when I want fish and chips and I am never disappointed. The fish is fresh, tasty, and moist. The chips are just-right crispy. They also serve a variety of other kinds of food such as bangers and beans and a great Sunday Brunch. And British... More

Stopped for lunch during the craft fair. The fish and chips were done to perfection, both done crispy on the outside and tender not at all greasy on the inside. My companion had the mac and cheese which was quite silky and delish as well.

A couple of time a year, I meet friends in Haddonfield for lunch. We always go to the British Chip Shop. We never had to wait, but yesterday was the exception since there was a fall festival in town and the restaurant was very crowded. Big thanks to the owner who pushed two tables together so we could sit without... More

My wife and I were in Haddonfield doing some shopping and decided to stop in for lunch. We both got the Fish & Chips. The fish was one large piece rather then the couple smaller pieces that I use to. It was very tasty but difficult to eat. Was not a fan of the chips, they were very dark, almost... More

Wife and I stopped in here. She is from England, and we spend most of the year there except Summers. First impression was that it was kind of dark inside. But once we sat down, we felt very at home. My wife had the Fish and Chips and I had the Banger and Chips. The batter on my wifes fish... More

Went for brunch but Bruce was not being served due to craft fair in town. Requested cheddar plate got the Stilton (blue cheese) plate. Although good. Scones were a hit asked for three got two and the third person decided to pass. Asked how many cups of tea per Tea Pot advises 4-6. Actually only 3-4 cups per pot. Scottish... More

While the dinner was very good, the service was poor. We ordered and when the dinner was served, the waiter left us without ketchup. We then had no napkins. We requested napkins, waited, then received napkins. We were never asked if we needed drink refills. He just never seemed to be there when we needed him. We feel they really... More

Saw the sign from Kings Highway and had to stop for lunch. Had not had Welsh Rarebit in a long time and this was pretty good! The fish and chips were great and we enjoyed the meal. Service was good and the price average for Haddonfield.

A local favorite spot for us, most often as takeout. Nice atmosphere and people watching through windows looking out on the walkable shopping main street of Haddonfield, though. Since the fish doesn't take long to cook and they want it to be as fresh as possible, they wait to drop it into the oil until you're actually there. Butternut squash... More
