We found this hole-in-the-wall joint thanks to TripAdvisor. We were looking for a deli en route from PHL to Atlantic City. What a gem! The Italian hoagie was delicious, as was the Philly cheesesteak. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful to us out of towners. It's like a combo deli and convenience store with two small tables. Parking on the... More

Art's Deli in Gloucester city has some of the best subs and cheesesteaks! The best of the best is the Art's Special...so jammed packed with meat it's probably 4 to 5 inches round! So delicious, it's our go to place when the hoagie craving hits!! I gave it a 5 because of the Art's Special! If the stop making it,... More

I've been coming to Art's for a little over 3 years now. The staff are excellent, and the food is out of this world. I recently have been getting the chicken salad club sandwich. It comes with a bag of chips and a pickle, and it's just one example of delicious deli food done right. The hot sausage is massive... More

Needed some hoagies for lunch and wound up going to Art's because Wawa no longer offers an American hoagie with bologna and salami...well Art's does. No more Wawa for me when I'm in Gloucester City, the subs are enormous and a much better value than Wawa. Only downside is there is no toasting, but it didn't really matter, because my... More

The term addiction is defined as compulsive engagement in naturally rewarding behavior. As such, a warning sign should appear on the outside of Art's Deli indicating "ingestion of any contents could lead to possible addiction". Our annual pilgrimage home for Thanksgiving, ALWAYS, includes a visit to Art's for their cheesesteak. The size alone is a sight for sore eyes!! Couple... More

I've been here 2 or 3 times. It's like a convenience store and a deli mixed. The owners are very nice and friendly. The buffalo chicken sandwiches are awesome. It isn't too spicy, but the chicken has a great crunch and flavor. You can't really sit down to eat here, but they do have a couple tables in the middle... More

This place food is very good, their hoagies truly have no competition. You can taste the quality of their meats and fresh rolls. They are one of the few restaurants left that are clean, care about their customers as well as the products that they are saling.
