Sip your coffee, latte, tea or other beverage while overlooking the Delaware River and the beautiful Frenchtown/Uhlerstown bridge. Try one of baked on premises pastries - the morning glory muffin is my favorite! Frequented by locals, it's a tucked away gem. Later in the day stop by for lunch. Their soups are homemade and always a great choice. Salads are... More

We sat outside and had Quiche and Mac and Cheese with Crabmeat. Both were tasty. Service was very slow but we were not in a hurry. Low key vibe with limited menu, but we enjoyed our meal.

Located on the tow path if biking in Frenchtown. Quiet nice spot to stop. Don't order the hamburger. It was very greasy and definitely not broiled. It tasted like it was cooked in a pot of oil. The coleslaw is not made with mayo, but rather in a curry oil dressing. Not bad, but I would have liked to know... More

My husband and I were biking on the "Rails toTrails " along the Delaware River on Labor Day. We decided to stop for a late lunch at the Bridge Cafe in Frenchtown, NJ, which we had driven past many times. It appeared to be one of the few spots open on the holiday and I was excited to finally try... More

We have stopped here several times.....today just for a doughnut. The doughnuts were great. We then went for a bikeride. After that we stopped here again for a drink. The raspberry smoothie was really good. Eating anything here makes the day better! There are wonderful choices for breakfast and lunch which we have sampled over the years. This is a... More

One of the top 10 days of the year. Perfect weather, bicycling along the canal. Decided to have an early meal along the River and canal. Seated outdoors on the rear patio was perfect. My wife had the quiche, hold the crabmeat. Enjoyed the meal. Surprised they only had 2 choices of salad dressing! I had open faced sourdough, ham... More

This was our second stop at the Bridge Cafe and we were not disapointed. The food was very good and our guests enjoyed their meal. It is a BYOB and we saw one table who did bring their own wine. The service was good and friendly. The place is clean but rustic, which adds to the charm. Great view of... More

The title about says it all. We only had ice cream and drinks on a crowded weekend morning arriving after most people had breakfasted. Queued up for the eats and placed ourselves at tables inside rather than sitting outside overlooking the river. The signs are full of "homespun" philosophy, the young women who serve and man the cash register, are... More

The view next to the river is very pretty but the cafe has a limited menu, prices high, not as clean as I expected (but that was just a quick walk through to eat outside)...service mediocre. On a hot day it took too long to get drink delivered. Have to pay $1.00 for refill of iced tea ! Never heard... More
