When you go to dinner theaters, it's all about the show not the food. However, not only was the screwball comedy about Sherlock Holmes terrific but the food was awesome. The place was filled with patrons and the servers were running but they were very good. The show was especially funny as well from these local actors. I recommend Elaine's... More

Food was average at best but service was terrible. Took awhile to order and for waiter to understand what we wanted. For main course they gave us wrong plates no spoons. To get waiters attention took awhile. To get check took 15 minutes. Never going back.

They seemed a bit disorganized when we got there and it continued. They thought we had already picked our entree's and we knew nothing about it. The service was slow, to the point where people were getting up and going to the bar themselves to get something to drink. Our server seemed overwhelmed; like this was the first time he... More

We came here and seen Scrooge the Musical and it was just outstanding. Loved the pre-show cocktail bar and the dinner before the show the dinner could not have been better plus it was hot and delicious. The show was outstanding and the actors were great. We just had a wonderful time. Plan to return next year as its that... More

We've been coming to Cape May for 20+ years and last weekend (Nov 5, 2016) was our first time at Elaine's and we absolutely LOVED it! The show was soooo great, as was the pre-show cocktail at the bar, and we enjoyed dinner too! The whole evening was a homerun and we can't wait to see Scrooge next month.

First time at Elaine's, and we picked Monday night to go to the dinner and Magic Show, figured the kids (17, 19, 8 and 6) would enjoy the show. Well dinner was excellent and we all thought the Magician/Illusionist Anthony Salazar was awesome. We really enjoyed the night and it was a great start to our vacation! Definitely go, very... More

Our first murder mystery dinner here. It was "Sherlock Holmes and the Werewolves Of London". The costumes, British accents & show was well put together. Had some laughs along the way too. Even enjoyed the outside bar with a guitar player /singer before the show. The food was very good. Would definitely go back there.

Since I have a summer place nearby in Wildwood, I have patronized this restaurant for a number of years. Breakfast and drinks on their outdoor porch is fantastic. Four years ago we tried their dinner theater. Honestly, it was terrible. The show was equal to a high school production. The meal cooked as if in a microwave oven. HOWEVER, this... More

We love live theater and dining out so this appealed to us. They offer a limited selection prior to the show but what we had was very good. The drinks were excellent. Dinner and show was $50 per person. Drinks are extra. The show was Sherlock Holmes and the Werewolf of London - apparently written by one of the cast... More
