We've thought about having dinner on the train for a few years. This year we finally did it. We decided to go with the dome. There were three of us, me, my wife and her sister. We all ordered the same meal. Crab cake with a pineapple curry sauce, and beef wellington. We also had a salad, bread and a... More

Talk about dinner with a view! The meal was top notch with orchid garnishes. Delicious. This was a great experience with five star food. Best dining in Lincoln. Probably the only place in town where you can get dressed up.

This year the Dinner Train that operates in the summer added Depot Dining during weekends in the winter serving a broad selection of tapas with prices from $8-12 per plate and an average of about $10. Each plate can be shared and a light dinner for 2 would need 3-4 plates. The beers include several local craft beers on tap... More

Owner operated owner built everyone about this is awesome.. this is really a review of the taps bar not the dinner train. As the train does not run in winter. All small plates were excellent. We especially like the scallops, nand shrimp offerings. Wine list is good prices are fair and the staff could not have been nicer

We were in Lincoln NH for a ski weekend and found this place down the street. They have a quaint area upstairs with couches and small tables. Candles lit and the smell of pine made the ambience and environment romantic and comfortable. We chose to relax on the couches and ordered a variety of tapas including the pulled pork, shrimp... A perfect date night destination! Traveling along the rail in a vintage decorated railway car doesn't get any better! Or wait.. yes it does! Greeted and shown, by your maitre'd to your table bedecked in fine linen and flowers. You will be wowed from beginning to end, with fine food, service and scenery!

We visited on the second day of their new winter dining - the train doesn't move and you're served your choice of tapas in the disembarkation area. The food was fabulous and the service was truly magnificent. Since it was only the second day of their new winter service, it was quiet. I would return in a heartbeat.

We were lucky enough to attend the soft opening of Cafe Lafayette's newest venture, tapas dining in the depot. As we entered it was a very warm and cozy atmosphere. We chose to seat on the second floor loft. There were tables for two and four diners along with comfortable sofa sitting. The menu presented many choices of tapas portion... More

A well orchestrated 5 course dinner on an actual moving train. They start you off with drinks and a dinner roll followed by appetizers then salad. To clean your palate before the entry you get a little dish of sherbert. What a neat idea. Then the entry followed by dessert. As soon as you clean a plate some one is... More
