We were staying at the Inn for the weekend and tried the tavern for dinner after checking in. The tavern was cozy and quiet. We enjoyed the brie (though I would have preferred it to be warmer and more melty). Then we both had the braised Moroccan lamb shank, which was VERY good, the veggies too. Then to finish it... More

Warm, cozy, and inviting, delicious regular menu, with terrific specials each night. Nice beer and wine selection. Highly recommend the filet mignon, the Moroccan lamb shank, the bangers & mash, and the fish & chips is as close to authentic as you can get here in the US! Wonderful service and amazing views of the mountains!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay for a couple nights at the inn. We decided to try the restaurant for dinner one of the nights. I very much enjoyed the breakfasts more. Dinner seemed a bit pricey and we waited for what felt like forever to receive our meals. The food itself was good but I'm not sure we... More

Four of us had a delicious dinner at the Sunset Hill House Restaurant on New's Eve 2016. The menu offerings were all very tasty including the deserts! Servers were attentive and the champagne toast poured by the owners was a special touch.

We had a large group (18 in all) at the Inn for New Year’s dinner. The owners, Dick and Sally graciously accommodated us, the staff was excellent and the dinner selections were wonderful. It was a memorable evening!

Excellent food and friendly staff. Very cozy atmosphere. Fish and chips were awesome! Our room included breakfast in the morning which was a table service meal of chef's selection offerings. I would recommend it and return.

The food in the resturant was always delicious, so much choices, ate here most nights of my stay and everything was excellent! My expanding waist band didn't thank me but my taste buds did!!

I loved this place. The food was delicious with a great variety of pub fare or fancier fare. They have a full stocked bar and a great selection of bears. The view out the windows is amazing.

Description
The Restaurant at Sunset Hill is an award winning Chaine des Rotisseurs Restaurant with 7 Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence. Under the direction of internationally acclaimed Chef de Cuisine Brill Williams, you'll enjoy classics and local products, and the best views in New England. Of course virtually everything we offer is made in house and prepared to order (with the exception of a few desserts which are made by a wonderful pastry chef!). The quality of such painstaking work is evident from Chef's incredible sauces and soups, to our hand-trimmed meats. The Restaurant at Sunset Hill offers a la carte and prix fixe ($52 for 5 courses) menus 6 days a week (daily during summers and holidays). Guests rave about our food, are amazed by the view, but the thing they comment on most is the caring service. There is no pretension here at Sunset Hill - just 'real people' who care about your experience. For more casual fare, try our New Hampshire Tavern - a great place to relax!
