One of our favorite spots to stop at in the summer. It's definitely old style, has a basic menu and is very reasonably priced. You can order at the outside window and sit on picnic tables or have table service inside. It is cash only and there is plenty of parking. Burgers and fish sandwiches are always good. Their cheese... Basic menu, but delicious lobster rolls and fries - delivered what it promised... if you are passing by stop for a lobster roll and you won't be disappointed. Only reason for not giving a 5 was the coleslaw which we found quite watery.

Located a half mile down the road from Wentworth by the Sea, this is a good choice for a an ice cream or a casual meal. Service is satisfactory and servers are friendly.

Hard to beat this place for simple New England food in a classic roadside setting. Not at all fancy, but if you are looking for a basic meal, including seafood, this is a good place. If you are looking for linen tablecloths and fine wine, go down the road to Wentworth By The Sea.

The ice cream was fabulous! I wanted to try the clam bellies which looked great at the take out window. Maybe next year on the clams!

While The Ice House has a full menu, we just stopped here for ice cream. There was a big selection of flavors and it was fairly reasonable for the portions. The best flavor we sampled was the peanut butter Oreo but no one in our party was disappointed.

You can get a meal too! We took advantage of their ice cream offerings and enjoyed every bit. You can sit inside or order outside and sit at tables around the parking lot

We always look forward to Ice House opening day! The food is always excellent- and it's consistent. We never have to worry we will spend our hard earned money on a mediocre meal. There are so many choices and everything is made with equal quality care. Just a great overall place to go!
