We went for dinner on a Friday night at 7 pm. It was a nice night, so we asked to sit outside. They have this great patio with lights and wooden benches. My captain and Coke was strong. Our sever was personable without hovering. I had the Spanish paella which was delicious. The broth was creamy and the seafood was... More

Excellent burgers- Sunday night they are $5 off. Happy hour has good alcohol prices. Atmosphere could be improved. Excellent food. Excellent service. My wife had issues with their point system when she pays cash.

Since I have been introduced to Fodys it has become one of my favorite spots to eat. The food is great and I absolutely love their burgers. You definitely do not go away hungry. The staff is great and attentive. Great tavern atmosphere with a lovely fire in the fire place which is so welcoming on a cold evening.Sundays the... More

Who knew, Sunday night special $5 off every burger! The burgers were delicious - cooked perfectly, melted cheese, chipotle bbq sauce. They are quite big and we thought after the fact that we probably could have shared one. The French fries were very good as well and plenty of them! Sat at the bar, bartend was very nice. It is... An old school bar with some modern flavor. I ordered the Porterhouse Pork Chop, it was HUGE! It was also delicious! The staff was polite and helpful. They have a nice selection of beers. I ordered "Burn the Ships" IPA by local brewery Able Ebenezer Brewing Co. I typically steer clear of IPA's but it was good!

This is an older venue. It has some historic significance in the city in that formerly it was a hotel; later enjoyed a checkered history as a rooming house; currently the only floor that is occupied is the restaurant. The restaurant has an older feel; the outdoor patio was a fairly recent build on. The restrooms are older still; but... More

I was expecting a dive bar but this place was a couple steps above that. Still nothing fancy, but certainly historic and comfortable. Great outdoor seat for warm spring and summer nights.

Went here for dinner Saturday night and was my first time. First impression was we where at a casual old pub. Our waitress Liz was very nice. She brought corn bread but the plates where dirty or old and stained, Liz gave us new plates but they looked the same. She highly recommended the Rib Eye so Deb ordered that... More

I have lived in Nashua my entire life and yet i had never been to Fodys. It is the oldest building in Nashua and I had heard very good things about it in the last few years. My wife and I decided to try it last Saturday night and we were so impressed!! Such a charming little place. Tremendous atmosphere.... More

Fody's Tavern was first erected in 1833, then somehow moved across the street to new foundation in early 1900, use horse and chains. Great staff. Large serving sizes. Lobster BLT was very good-- could share,. cornbread very good, but unusually crumbly, hard to butter. Burn the Ships IPA was a unique beer offering for someone not usually a fan of... More
