The Dancing Lion is truly a treat, but it's best to understand from the start that you'll be purchasing some of world's finest chocolate that's crafted by a very skilled chocolatier. Owner Mr. Tango-Lowy works hard to give his customers the very best and it...More

Dancing Lion's chocolate is simply extraordinary. My husband and I were fortunate to enjoy a drinking chocolate service -- including Mayan drinking chocolate (smooth with just the right amount of spice), zen brownies (indescribably yummy), biscotti, and other goodies. Everything was outstanding. This tiny shop...More

We have been in here a few times and absolutely love the drinking chocolate. They are on the pricey side but well worth the money.

Every time we're in Manchester, we stop here. Try some of the imaginative new chocolates that the owner/artist has concocted, and have a cup of hot chocolate made with one of the spicy dark chocolates produced here--it's one of the best hot chocolates I've ever...More

What an impressive selection of specialty chocolates. Loved speaking with the owner about his travels in discovering items. Their hot chocolate was out of this world. Truly a unique experience for chocolate lovers.

I am not a good one to review but if you are big on chocolate and not the Hershey's kind then maybe you will think this is wonderful. It is downtown along the street and parking may be a little issue it was for us....More

My husband bought me a egg for Easter It cost 45.00 for one egg. Never heard of this but was excited to try. Reviews were good. Unfortunately the egg was not worth the money. For 45.00 I did not expect a hollow egg with chocolate...More

Dear Ann, I'm sorry to hear you did not enjoy your chocolate art egg. I make the eggs with real tempered chocolate, which sets up quite hard, and is similar to that used in any high quality fine chocolate bar. Each is handcrafted and I...More

I first encountered the True Soul of chocolate in 1995. For fifteen years I have sought her subtle nuances, studied her moods, struggled to understand her complex temper. She is a most difficult mistress; coquettish and proud, quick to anger, open only to the most patient of overtures.I’ve learned to prepare her in the ancient ways of the Maya and in the gleaming kitchens of the finest Parisian chocolatiers. I have studied her at ecole Chocolat in Vancouver and at the prestigious Ecole du Grand Chocolat Valrhona in the Rhone Valley of France. I am proud to count among my friends some of the finest chocolatiers from Montreal to Melbourne to Guatemala.Chocolate is my passion. I will never master her–who can master one so willful and tempestuous? But I will continue to woo her and to craft a small bit of her soul into each truffle and bonbon I create. For chocolate is art. And as art she is magnificent.
