It seems that I have driven past The Hungry Buffalo at least 100 times and always said to myself, need to add that to my bucket list. Well last week when I went to visit my son I told him we'd try something different from our usual venues. We were the first to arrive at 11:30 on a Saturday at... More

Arrived at the Hungry Buffalo at 11:25. The door was open, so went in. A gentleman approaches and says, "We don't open until 11:30, so it could be awhile before you get food." To which my girlfriend replies, "Um, ok. It's 11:27. How long are we talking about?" To which he replies, "Well, you know, we're on bar time. Stuff... More

This restaurant over serves alcohol to patrons. Then they call the police when they try to go and most times they get in trouble. The regulars are quite rude, very unfriendly and unpleasant. Can't play pool because they hog the tables. Been twice and both times witnessed over serving of alcohol!! Bartender is moody! I do not recommend this over-serving-to-make-more-tips... More

My husband and I have been driving past this restaurant for the past couple of years as we moved into the area. He had been looking forward to trying it since our move became permanent last year. Tonight was the night. He was excited to have the alligator appetizer and try the bison. There were only 4 tables full in... More

Seriously understaffed. The one waitress was also the bartender and the Saturday afte noon crowd was keeping he busy. There was one other couple and a table of four in the dining room and it took ten minutes for her to take our order. She did not know the ingr die tw of the specials or how they were prepared.... We were visiting friends in Loudon and ate here for dinner. This is a local hangout and I really wasn't expecting anything special. As the name indicates, the menu centers on buffalo (technically bison, since that is what is raised in this country). It's been a long time since I have eaten this meat. I know it has less fat... great food, low key atmosphere, affordable. hours are 11:30 - 9 pm clean , friendly, genuine food is simply prepared, starring red meats that are alternatives to beef. Save on the meat fat calories enough to splurge on fries or Mac n cheese.

My husband and I were unfamiliar with the area and decided to look on Trip Advisor for a nearby restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised with this find!! The food was great and the menu is full of some unexpected surprises. Our waitress was amazing, so friendly and accommodating and the music was terrific! An added bonus was that it was... More
