A restaurant across from the lake with a window to order lunch or an ice cream cone, a bar & patio with a great view, or an inside seating area for a good meal. Great seafood, steak or burgers all in one place. Wish they were open year round.

We needed a dog friendly place and this fit the bill. The steak tips were really good and I had them on a salad. There were no other veggies that I could find (like seasonal veggies or anything) or I would have gotten a dinner plate. Lots of fried and fatty foods. If you are at all health conscious -... More

Location, location, location. This place has a great location. It was packed and noisy, clearly a favorite. Service was fast and friendly. Food was good but sitting outside after sunset, I could not see my food. I had a lobster salad, a small serving for $20.00. Beautiful view of the lake.

We enjoyed a nice lunch at the Big Catch. A nice summer lunch on the outside deck. Our server was terrific, great personalty and good service. The menu is a lighter bill of fare with burgers to seafood baskets. Soup and appetizers as well. The fresh haddock was wonderful; we both enjoyed our meal very much. Friendly and nice. Give... More

The place is okay, as is the food, but it was a real zoo the hot summer evening we were there. They could use a few real craft beers on the tap - all they had was a stock macro beer selection.

The seafood is delicious, especially the fried clams! More than enough with just the clam basket. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. Can't beat the sunsets!

We all ordered different items and all of the items tasted bland and flavorless. The best part of this restaurant is the view.

This is a little funny, because the Big Catch is on the lake and not on an ocean, but it's some of the very best seafood shack food I've ever had. The baskets are the best value, ~$14-$18 gets you a really solid portion of fried seafood with a light, flavorful breading, plus fries and coleslaw. My dad LOVES the... More

We have been eating at the Big Catch every summer for many years. The pleasant ritual involves a boat ride down the lake and pulling up on their beach. The young waitstaff changes over the years, but is invariably earnest, friendly and attentive. The menu is fairly simple (mostly seafood) though my wife loves their chicken sandwich. For my part,...
