The food is always good. The service is great. The booths are a little uncomfortable to sit in. They don't take American Express.

Rigo, you're awesome, the chips and salsa are the best I've ever had, and that's saying something from this L.A. native. It's never busy and the service is always top notch. It is a BIT pricey, but well worth it, even my cheapo fiance wanted to go two nights in a row. He loves their chimichangas, he ordered steak nachos... More

Be sure to try the salmon for some DELICIOUS homemade fruit salsa that tops it. The basil cheese quesadilla is also something not usually found in the average Mexican place. This is a wonderful family-run place with superb sopapillas!

This clean authentic restaurant in a small strip mall is a definite must if in the Reno Sparks area. The wait staff was very friendly and very efficient. My husband is an enchilada snob and he said the one at this restaurant is top notch. I had the taco salad and the pork in it was so tasty that there... More

Anyone can find something they like on the menu! If you haven't tried the salmon, you MUST! And I love the tacos with basil and cilantro, too. Nice family place with a great chef.

Chips were fresh and warm, the salsa tasty and not too spicy. One person had the enchiladas del mar--they were chock full of prawns; looked delicious--he finished every bite. Another person had ground beef soft tacos 'street taco' style with just onion and cilantro on them; she said the accompanying tomatillo sauce was excellent. Another had a beef burrito; he... More

Our family used to live in the Reno/Sparks area. We have missed this restaurant terribly. We are here for a wedding. Our favorite was the Qyeso Fondido appetizer. It's a baked cheese. It was no longer on the menu but the cook made it for us anyway. (Thank you) I always have carnitas or chile rellenos. Always good. We can't... More

We arrived for an early dinner on our way out of Reno at about 4:30. Our service was very slow, even though our waitress was friendly. Apparently they were short a busser. I only had the tortilla soup which was mediocre. ..way too much cumin. My boys had the early bird steak and shrimp. The shrimp were rather small and... More

We tried to eat here last Sunday. Rigo's is closed on Sundays. Though the restaurant is currently rated #28 out of 208, the reviews are consistently great. I had to try before we left the area. 5:15 on a Friday found it less than 1/3 full. The customers didn't look like people that wasted money on trendy chain eateries, but... More

Happened to be running to the bank, and said, " Hey, you know that Mexican restaurant by the bank? Lets try that one." We were not expecting anything spectacular, and then to our surprise, it was..........Spectacular! Pork Carnitas, and the Beef Parrillas were nothing like I've ever tasted.......and the chips before dinner....I can't even tell you how great they are.... More
