A Root Beer Float is supposed to have one or two scoops of real ice cream in the root beer. What I got was something one may expect from a Dairy Queen. This ice cream came out soft out of a nozzle. Somewhat disappointing. It...More

A & W was a part of my childhood, good to see a few still around. The Root Beer was served in frosty mugs. The Pork tenderloin sandwich and coney dogs were great. Well worth a visit.
My wife and I flew into Reno from NW Arkansas and we were taken there by family members who picked us up at the airport and took us to this restaurant for lunch after our 6 hour flight. The food was very good and flavorful...More

when I fly in for graduation we stopped here on our way home. very friendly people and good service. Food was great and loved and missed the Root Beer as we do not have an A & W here and I miss it.

Well, they overcook the burgers but the law forces them to. The coney dogs are great and worth the price and who can resist a frosty mug of the best root beer in town?
Whenever we are in Reno, we stop into A&W for a diet root beer float and some other goodies. The car t-shirts that are available to purchase are a great deal too.
We went through the drive through window line and ordered a root beer float and a root beer freeze. Service was quick; drinks were great. It was just perfect to enjoy on a hot summer day when we were in Reno.
