My husband and I decided at the last minute to go eat out rather than cook. Since this is not too far from where we live, and neither of us has had El Salvadorian food, it was a pretty easy decision. I am so glad we went! We ordered pupusas and my husband ordered a Margarita and I had a... More

This little restaurant has a very nice menu of dishes that I have not seen in other places. The food is well prepared and the options are interesting. There are specials every day, but my wife and I usually gravitate to our favorites. Casa Mientos or papusa and the carnitas combination dinner. The menu has both descriptions and pictures of... Being behind the Wild Orchid, the location is not great. But that's where you find good Mexican/Hispanic restaurants. The food is very similar to Mexican but the addition of pupusas makes it El Salvadorian. If you've never had El Salvadorian food, think Mexican with less spice. If you've never had pupusas, think stuffed tortilla with a pickled cabbage salad and... More

We are regulars and enjoy interesting dishes that are well prepared and have generous portions. It seems if you have a specialty or preference they will go out of their way to make it. There are always interesting specials offered and dishes I have never seen in other places. The staff is friendly and helpful. Say Hola to Artoro

We visited this restaurant for the first time last week. The portions are quite generous and the food is great. Typical of Central American cooking, it's not too spicy but has a wide range of flavors. Get the appetizer platter - more than enough for 2 to eat as lunch (unless you have a large appetite). The fried plantains were... More

Little building on a side street. Great parking. Low prices, big servings. Unusual, grainy chips that are very tasty. All main dishes come with rice, beans, and thick tortilla thing. Maybe a pupusa? Not sure what it was called. Server was nice. He was very helpful in describing dishes for me. I was sad I went for the safe choice.... More

tired of Mexican, this is a great place to try something further south of the border. Having traveled through Central America, this is a wonderful local find.

I visited the restaurant during a lunch break with my girlfriend. The server was very nice and polite. I asked a few questions about the food and the server had prompt helpful answers. The typical food you would find in an Mexican restaurant in America is on there, and were the cheapest meals on the menu. There were some other... More

I work in the hospitality industry and have had home made El Salvadorian meals prepared for me before by fellow co-workers and staff that were native to that country. This is the first time that I have eaten this cuisine in an actual restaurant and it was amazing. The papusas are made to order and are delicious. Instead of cooking... More
