My husband and I went at 6 p.m. on a Thursday evening. This restaurant feels wonderfully homey yet elegant with its brick walls and large windows. Noelle was our waitress and was perfect - prompt service and very attentive. We had escargot, French onion soup,...More

I would suggest going early in the evening and sitting by the front windows so you can enjoy the view of the river and people walking along the pathway. Be prepared to pay big bucks when you eat there because everything is very pricey. Had...More

Very enjoyable restaurant with a delightful view of trails by the river. The service was excellent and both fish dishes tried were extremely good.

The food is French leaning in this bistro on the river in Reno. There is a more than adequate choice, food and service are good, and nicely quiet - good for conversations with friends.

This was our 5th time eating here. It used to be the best place in Reno - beautiful location on the Truckee. Not only have the prices gone up significantly but the quality has collapsed. My son and I order mushroom and truffle risotto. It...More

a very disappointing visit. Starters were served well before the bottle of wine showed up. Main courses were disappointing as well. Sauce bearnaise was anything but. Steak ordered rare was medium rare. The service was friendly but could not make up for the obvious deficiencies...More

Arrive early and grab a seat outside and enjoy the view of the Truckee River. Great wine list and also good wine by the glass.

This used to be our favorite place to dine in Reno, since 2013. The last two times we went it was a different experience. The menu is totally changed, and the prices seem to be higher. They still have a few great servers but the...More

This is still my favorite restaurant in Reno but they have really upped the prices of their entrees. Instead of just salmon, it is now salmon with lobster and lobster sauce for $40. Not just risotto, it's risotto with black truffles for $45. I don't...More

Chef Bill Gilbert's charming French style bistro in downtown Reno celebrates authentic French cooking as well as modern interpretation of French cuisine. We serve Niman Ranch beef, lamb, and pork, Liberty Duck, and much of our organic produce is sourced locally including wild and exotic mushrooms from Connie Green. Our extensive bar and wine list is available early for your pleasure. Outdoor seating is also available seasonally. Private dining arrangements are available on request. We are proud to be voted "Reno's Best French Restaurant" for over a decade, and "Reno's Most Romantic Restaurant" in 2014 by the Reno News & Review.
