This is a small gem in the middle of Reno. It's that affordable, home cooking you are looking for when comfort food in the craving.

I travel worldwide for my work and whenever in Reno, I always make it a point to have breakfast at Kimmie's. The food is fresh, and cooked right in the open room kitchen. The staff is extremely friendly and the service is fast. Can't wait until I'm back in Reno again.

I went here with my family recently, and the food just wasn't anything special. We all were left with an enormous amount of food on our plates after we had eaten as much of the rather boring breakfast that we could. I had the french toast, and I think it was probably the best choice out of the three of... More

Went for breakfast. Had the country Benedict. Sausage had a lot of flavor. Biscuits where fresh. Was really crowded, ate at counter, very fast service.

Charming place and very busy! Popular locals spot, recently changed name to the Cup Cafe but same owner. High quality, great service and great for people with food allergies. I told the waitress my allergies and the chef prepared everything in clean pans, I had no issues. Good value, I can highly recommend this restaurant.

I just tried this place for breakfast, and it was pretty good. I had a meat lovers breakfast that had 3 eggs, hash browns, a small slice of ham, 2 sausage links, and 2 strips of bacon, with some sourdough toast. When my breakfast arrived, the server only brought one slice of toast, which was the only thing about my... More

Good breakfast locations. Staff and food are very good. If your looking for breakfast away from the food chains, this could be your spot.

In Reno for business, asked some locals about a great breakfast spot; Kimmie's was the hands down winner. I went in around 8:00AM, sat at the counter and noticed the tables/booths were all packed, and it was indeed filled with locals. Breakfast was outstanding, service was fast and pleasant, and the food was delivered quickly, despite the full house. Menu... More

I gave this restaurant a 5 because the breakfast was absolutely wonderful! Bacon thick but crispy. My husband loved his potatoes and I opted for their fruit cap which was all fresh fruit. The atmosphere was cozy. We went late a.m. but I am sure it gets very crowded first thing in the morning. But, I will say it was... More

Very good breakfast, portions are very large. Enjoyed there house made sausage. Biscuits were fluffy and really soaked up the gravy. Overall nice place for breakfast.
