Thank you for the wonderful comments about the grounds and the overall beauty of our resort - yet, I am sorry we fell short on the service interactions, if you have the time and further details would be appreciated for our continued efforts to make...More
I was a little disappointed but it was probably our fault for not sitting at the cook top table. The spring roll appetizer weren't the best ones we have had, but the vegetable tempura was very good. Since it was my birthday they brought me...More
Visited this restaurant while staying at the Rampart Casino. I’ve eaten at many Japanese restaurants and this was simply one of the worst. One test for the quality of a Japanese restaurant is to see how good their tempura is. Shizen’s tempura was heavy, greasy,...More
Thank you for your feedback - I am sorry we left such a horrible and disappointing experience with you while you dined with us. I have passed along your commentary to the correct managers and I hope that we will make a better impression on...More
We have been here many times and the food is always very good but the service is so bad and it never changes. We made reservation for New Years Eve and they were not busy at all we were shocked it is a bit pricey...More
I am terribly sorry that you encountered this scenario a second time, and that you did not receive an apology or empathy for the unfortunate missing order item. Oh behalf of the restaurant and the resort - I am sorry. I ask that you reach...More
Pleasant atmosphere, service is average. Sushi good, salads are good. I would recommend as above average Japanese food. We have been there twice and same quality food but service is slow.
By far not the best Japanese Restaurant there is. Not even close. I would be embarrassed for the service I provided if I was the manager, but they don't seem to mind. I have eaten here several time as a matter of convenience while staying...More
Glad to hear the food was decent - yet, I am sorry you encountered a lack of service pertaining to your dining experience. The management team has been made aware of the less-than-desirable service interactions. We do appreaciet the feedback - thank you.
The food was OK, and some of the employees seem to try, but are hampered by a management team that needs more training themselves. They appear to be openly hostile to military veterans. So many other choices, eat somewhere else.More
Thank you for the feedback, I am sorry for the unfavorable experience with regards to the confusion as it pertains to service animals. We follow and comply with the regulations of both federal and state; however, as left up to interpretation of the individual business...More
Great place. The saki is wonderful. My tempura was a little too greasy. I didn't try the sushi. I had Yaki Soba.
Had supper with my wife and we had a hodgepodge of items. Couple of sushi rolls that were very good although the bites were smaller than average sushi. Teriyaki chicken, and tempura vegetables rounded out our meal. Service was good by our server, however, several...More
Went with a group of 6. Made a reservation, which was smart, they were busy. Everything was fresh, and food was well prepared. Steak portion was kinda small given the price, but was good. Scallops were fantastic! Would certainly go back.
