Everything was fresh and the service was terrific. I had the soba noodles and the Chicken Katsu rice bowl- that was enough food for 2 people and the prices were reasonable for Japanese food in a Las Vegas Hotel

I love this restaurant and have eaten here many times, this visit I was very disappointed with a expensive meal, that was average and staff that didn't know the menu and rather discuss with me until I had to show him in the menu the description of the dish. Still the kitchen send out the dipping sauce when I had... More

Had a wonderful dining experience at Japonais in mid-February 2017. The restaurant looks amazing! Beautiful woodwork, comfortable booths, and top-notch service. The food was delicious. We ordered 4-5 small plates to share (2 of us) that included a salmon kebob, scallop kebob, tuna poke, sushi, and shrimp/vege tempura along with a couple of bowls of rice. Every dish was excellent... The dining area is quiet enough to hold easy conversations. The menu has enough variety to satisfy the lover of sashimi and sushi and those people who preferred something else. The food was well presented. The service was very good, prompt, appropriately engaging and pleasant. The miso soup was served to me warm.

I don't eat raw sushi but enjoy the cooked options. We had the combo vegetable and shrimp tempura, California roll and Shrimp Tempura Roll. Everything was delicious and very flavorful! I would definitely eat here again when in Vegas. Highly recommended!!

Celebrated my wife's 65th birthday here after a Cirque du Soleil show at Treasure Island. Wow! Eye popping prices but man was the food good. Ramen bowl ($30) was exquisite. Seafood prepared perfectly, noodles handmade (?) and excellent. Dragon roll sushi very good ($19) as was the Spider roll ($19). Glad we had the opportunity to dine here.

I've visited Japonais fairly consistently since about 2012. I love the ambiance of the place. Unlike most places in Las Vegas, while there is modern music playing, it remains very much just background fodder, thus allowing you to actually have a conversation and enjoy your meal. The coming together of the classic and the modern -- and the American-Japanese fusion... More

Been going to this restaurant for the past few years and was always looking forward to their Japanese French fries and short ribs.....well they changed their menu, no longer have these items on the menu. We were there with a party of six, three of us ordered filet mignon ($48) and all the sides are now a la carte. It... More

Although we only had a few drinks here, it is a modern and nice place to settle in for a few. As we were leaving it had a huge line to get in for a dinner table.
