Really weird experience at this restaurant.. I ordered the "minute chicken" when I was here with my sister and mom, and was not happy to see the dish was honestly 75% gristle. For starters, I am NOT a complainer. I will grit my teeth almost every time and just keep my mouth shut. But I just couldn't stomach this; it... More

Local Chinese restaurant that serves a variety of menu items. I had the Wor Won Ton soup that was filled with lots of won tons, bbq pork, and vegetables. My husband and I shared this soup that filled us both up. The staff greet customers when arriving and when leaving-very friendly. The bathroom is need of cleaning and updating and... More

This is really a fantastic restaurant among rest in This city because first of all such a beautiful place for having quality time and meals there. Peaceful environment was soothing our mind and such a great non vegetarian food with spectacular presentation impressed me overall.

I/Hawaiians have been patronizing this place for years since flying over the big lake became a way of life for us 50th state peeps. Hawaiian classics - cold ginger chicken (braised chicken with Chinese pesto - green onions, garlic, ginger, cilantro), kau yuk (braised pork bellies), steamed pork hash (ground pork steamed with salted duck egg or fermented fish), minute... This restaurant gets surprisingly high ratings. Service is fast and attentive, but overall food quality is lacking. Egg rolls are greasy, food very salty. Pork with vegetables was OK quality of meat, but veggies not appealing. There are few restaurant choices nearby this area, so we chose it based on location. Our plates were heaped with food, not an appetizing... More

This Chinese restaurant offers some dishes you don't usually see on Chinese menus such as cake noodles and cold ginger chicken in onion sauce. This is Chinese Food with and Hawaiian accent. Another unique dish is the crispy kau chee (pork wontons) They were very meaty and tasty and fried to a light bubbly crisp. I tried the cold ginger... More

We moved to Idaho 10 years ago and sadly, could not find "authentic" Chinese food that we generally find in Hawaii. However, on the advice of a friend from Hawaii who visited Wo Fat Chinese Restaurant, we DID search out this jewel. The decor is typical of a "regular" Chinese restaurant with round tables (lazy Susan's included) and booths--nothing fancy---but... More

Hot & sour soup and Mongolian Beef were too spicy hot but lacked any flavor. The honey walnut shrimp was memorable in lacking any taste. Even the Choy sum was tasteless. Didn't even want the leftovers. Sad. Very sad. Should have gone for Mexican instead of Chinese.

Menu looked interesting but I think we made a mistake of ordering a lunch special (Mongolian beef). I had hot and sour soup which was good and wife had won ton soup that had 3 wontons in a light broth. It would have been good if the wontons had been fully cooked. They were tough and thick and uncuttable with... More

My cousin said if you are ever in Vegas and want some real home cooking.... Wo Fat is the place. Was he ever correct! We had water cress soup, pork hash with hom yu (salted dried fish) and ginger steamed chicken. Just what we had as kids growing up. Great family service and obviously local customers - about 5 miles... More
