My wife and i went to Golden Steer last June for the first time, our anniversary. We went again last week for the second time, for my birthday. Both dinners were ridiculously good. I must admit the tableside Caeser and bananas foster are the stars...of the show. And thats high compliment as i loved our cheateaub riand for 2 and my bone in ribeye(photo below) Love the vibe, the booths, and the crooner soundtrack. Service was outstanding. I believe our server was named Brian, hes worth asking for at check in.More

We received, as a Christmas gift, a well-packaged tomahawk steak dinner for two! The dinner came complete with all of the fixings, two overstuffed baked potatoes, creamed corn, seasoned butter and au jus sauce with a white table cloth and Golden Steer logo embroidered napkins....The items arrived in cold packaging and cryovac sealed. Cooking directions were provided and preparation was easy! The meal was absolutely delicious! All we had to add were some candles & the wine! Great gift! Great meal!More

Many of the guests at my store, a big and tall menswear destination, rave about the GS. Needless to say, my guys know their food, and their recommendation(s) weren't wrong. First the ambiance is that of a true old-school steakhouse. Warm and welcoming. We arrived...a bit early and were able to enjoy the company of Leeann at the bar. She was patient, kind, and asked all the right questions to make our drink selections perfect. When we were seated our waiter (I am sorry I forgot his name) was informative and knowledgeable. He explained a few things about the Steer and offered us the days specials. We ordered the tomahawk, lobster, with mushrooms and asparagus. We also asked for the tableside Caesar. The meal, the service, and the overall experience was excellent. I would say the Golden Steer will be on my itinerary every time I visit Vegas!More

My first time here and was extremely disappointed! My friends frequent this place when in Vegas and raved about it so a group of 8 of us went. The food was not good, steak was bland, mashed potatoes were lukewarm and our waiter seemed annoyed....My friend sent back his prime rib that was clearly MR when he ordered medium well. It came back well done. When we pointed out to the waiter our disappointment, no apology whatsoever, just sheer annoyance that we spoke up. For $300 for 2 people, I've had better steak in iowa at a grill your own steakhouse. I DO NOT recommend wasting your money here, it's not that cool, even for old VegasMore

This was our first time experiencing this well know steak house. All our friends raved about this place from the food to the environment. I must say it gives you a wonderful old Vegas feel and very chic. I loved the environment, but the food...fell short. I was NOT impressed at all with food. It was pretty bland and just no flavor. I felt Like I was eating food for old people that couldn’t have salt. If you want a great steak I wouldn’t recommend this place for your first visit to Vegas. When we left after paying our $300 tab my husband and I felt cheated lol. We ended up grabbing Hell’s Kitchen to go for some satisfaction, which is where we should’ve went in the first place. But for classic bland no flavor food definitely give this place a try.More

We have been to many....but this one took the cake. Excellent, big 16 oz loin that hit the spot. We LOVE the old Vegas vibe and Sinatra music playing in the background. If you haven't been before, treat yourself. It is worth every penny. Nice...to be pampered.More

There were 6 in our party for a birthday celebration. The location seemed a little iffy at first but from the moment we walked in the door everything was amazing. Wonderful history to this restaurant! Servers were very accommodative and the steak was the best...we have ever had (and we are from Texas!). I would highly recommend for any special occasion while traveling to Vegas.More

Recently had a wedding dinner at the Golden Steer and it was an exceptional evening. Wasn't sure what to expect during these trying times but the staff did a great job making it a night to remember for the bride and groom. The food was...excellent and service outstanding. Thanks to Jonathan who did an amazing job for us during dinner, explaining the menu and giving us a bit of history on the Golden Steer. The cake presentation for dessert finished off a marvelous meal we soon will not forget. Thanks again to all the staff at Golden Steer.More

The ambience is terrific with the wonderful service that we receive the setting is consistent with an old fashion steakhouse with linen tablecloth’s and napkins and very good food, but very expensive.
