Best view of Lake Tahoe because you’re on the north shore. The sunsets are unbelievable at this restaurant. I absolutely love Lone Eagle for a fine dining experience. Always make reservations at this place. The bar area is great for a casual evening with friends!...I love the outdoor patio seating too! We had the perfect table one evening in august. You can walk down to the beach or walk over to one of the open fire pits. They didn’t have valet parking and you need to get a parking ticket before you enter. I love everything on the menu especially their filet.More

We ate here twice during a stay at the Hyatt hotel, which is directly across the street. The food is superb, the service is efficient, and the wine list was extensive (but there was help readily available from a few on-site sommeliers). It's very pricey...(6 oz filet $61, a la carte and about $11 each for shareable sides). To us, it was worth the money to have such a high-quality meal in a nice atmosphere by attentive servers. We appreciated the suggestions for wine by the soms. Be sure to get reservations well in advance. It's impossible to just walk in and hope for a bar seat. We know, we tried.More

I cannot say enough great things about both the lovely staff, exceptional kitchen staff, and amazing cuisine I experienced during a dinner here with a friend. If I am back in that region I will surely visit again!

Enjoyed our early dinner at the Bar - Bar Staff was professional, helpful and attentive despite the rush of diners requiring cocktails at opening time. The Tuna Ahi Poke Salad was lovely. Mussels extremely tasty. The lamb chops were delicious. This is a pricy restaurant...but the view and location are iconic for North Lake Tahoe.More

Service, service, service. If you don’t have that in fine dining then you don’t have a good restaurant no matter what the setting. This is not a CoVID issue with this restaurant, it’s a hiring and management issue. They have a rude staff that are...not properly trained. For that reason we will never go back.More

We went for our anniversary and were hoping for a lake view at sunset. We booked well in advance, and though we had a view of the lake, we did not get the window seat requested. It wasn't a huge deal, we had a decent...view & knew it wasn't guaranteed. It surprised us to find people dressed very casually considering the atmosphere. From the wine, to the bread, to the main course, to the dessert (plus an extra dessert they provided as a congratulations), to the decor, we were very happy to have returned and will be back for future celebrations. It's never been a bad experience there.More

The food & service are so good. It had been a few years since we were able to visit....but still great. Menu changed a little since the last visit about 3 years ago. We got a great view of the lake as we were there...to celebrate hubby's 61st birthday with friends. This has become the go to place when visiting our friends in Reno.More

Ridiculous. On a Friday afternoon service started at 1:00 only for drinks. And if you weren’t guests of the hotel you couldn’t buy a drink at the bar on the dock. $15/hr for parking without food service. We used to live here and coming back...for a visit to one of our favorite spots was highly disappointed. I imagine locals don’t frequent here anymore. So good luck on off seasons.More

Where to start? Chef Justin Barroza truly is an amazing talent. The Ahi Poke and Bison were delicious: the scallops and New York stip were perfection and we topped it off with the Baked Tahoe. This was truly the meal that highlighted out stay in...Tahoe! Kudos Chef Justin!More

Dress code in Tahoe for summer is casual smart. What does that mean? An open neck nice shirt and summer slacks. I have seen people at the Lone Eagle Bar in shorts but I think that not the norm. Dining room is definitely... More
