Got lucky and ate here the day this was their soup offering. Huge chunks of lobster in amazing creamy base. Best I have ever had anywhere, including Maine!

Ate here based on Trip Advisor reviews. Restaurant is located in a building that was built in 1907. Nice atmosphere. Food was quite good. Service was adequate but not outstanding. Only one waitress and she was busy.

After driving for several hundred miles through dusty high desert, small rusty hamlets and wide open spaces of sheer nothing, it would be easy to dismiss Ely as just another "let's-keep-driving-until-we-find-something-better" blob on the map. We almost made that mistake, had it not been for a vague memory of a distant road trip and for TripAdvisor reviews. It was refreshing... More

Very generous and tasty breakfast one block away from the Railroad Museum. What a lovely place...grilled biscuits (recommended by our waitress), perfectly done bacon, and terrific home fried potatoes with our scrambled eggs. Waitresses very nice, we will definitely be back!

We came for dinner, enjoyed the salad bar and ordered fish and chips and spaghetti with meatballs. We were surprised about the excellent quality of our food. It tasted like homemade. Nothing fancy, but very satisfying and huge portions. We already booked a different hotel, otherwise we would have stayed at the inn.

Luckily we saw a reference on a small map we were given at the hotel, otherwise we would not have known it was there. I think they need to get a large sign out at the main street where people passing through would see it. The food was fine. I had a burger, fries, and salad bar. My partner, a... More

After our tour of the Northern Nevada Railway Museum just down the block, we checked into this charming inn, where we spent the night and ate both dinner and breakfast. Portions were large and tasty. The hamburger is truly cooked to order, so difficult to do these days; as a result, we enjoyed the medium rare--definitely pink--burger. Lots of fries.... More

Enjoyed a fine breakfast after visiting the railroad museum. Just a short walk. Located in an old house. Not large. Friendly staff, quick service. Very clean.

We read the previous reviews and chose this place for lunch. It was so bad, we're still talking about it. The stuffed hamburger was so undercooked I couldn't eat it. If the hamburger had had any flavor at all, it could have been redeemed by sending it back. With Blah food and poor service it makes me wonder about trip... More

This restaurant is in a former grocery store and inn. It has a really nice salad bar with multiple trips allowed plus soup. I had the chicken and pasta with one trip to salad bar and my husband had the soup and salads multiple trip choice. The environment is very pleasant and the service was prompt and nice. Knf
